We made part of one of the menus from _Platter of Figs_. We would have made the whole thing, but I didn't have gluten-free lasagna noodles or chestnut flour. Still, OMG. We *will* be making the pan-fried artichokes and potatoes again. I'd cut the artichokes a little thicker next time and turn down the heat earlier so that they taste more like artichoke and are little less crispy.

We started off with a small appetizer of really good peperroni and grapes from the Ferry building farmer's market. And wine, of course.
