"the 16C Galibier Concept is a close look at what the production 16C Galibier will resemble when it goes on sale in about three years (with a sales price estimated to be about $1.6 million). While it's engineered to be a sedan without peers – and we have no reason to question Bugatti's ability to accomplish this objective – the mechanical aspects of the Galibier will have to take a back seat to its design until the production model arrives in 2012." - clarke thomas from Bookmarklet

The rechargeable battery is good for 4-6 weeks and there’s an optional 42Ah battery as well. It’s equipped with an infrared camera that can record still photos or video via a 1.3Mpixel camera. Above the camera is a bank of 50 IR LEDs to help throw some invisible light on the perps. "“In 1977, Richard Weisman, an art collector and a friend of Warhol’s, commissioned a series of paintings of ten great sports figures of the era, now known as the “Athlete Series”. The group of athletes was selected by Mr. Weisman, and included stars of a variety of sports: Muhammad Ali (boxing), Pelé (soccer), Dorothy Hamill (figure skating), Tom Seaver (baseball), Jack Nicklaus (golf), O.J. Simpson (football), Chris Evert (tennis), Willie Shoemaker (horse racing), Rod Gilbert (ice hockey, NY Rangers), and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (basketball).” Warhol was the master of capturing the moment, in more ways than one, this collection of photographs shows another side to the artists ability to document and expose." - clarke thomas from Bookmarklet

Upgrades and Downgrades: TSA booted out, swingin’ conventions, Mecca hotels, mileage runs, more | Upgrade: Travel Better - http://www.upgradetravelbetter.com/2009...
Near Glacier National Park, in Kalispell, Montana, Glacier Park International Airport is hoping to boot the TSA off its property and replace the government security agency with private contractors. What?? I had no idea this was possible, but sure enough: Under the Screening Partnership Program, an airport can apply to reprivatize security, generally if TSA isn’t meeting the airport’s needs. The issue for Glacier was staffing: The TSA calculated staffing levels based on October traffic levels — when August is the peak travel time for the area. About 15 airports, including several in Montana, have opted out of the TSA’s domain. - clarke thomas from Bookmarklet
