I need to do mine, but apparently as I get older and my hip gets iffier, my balance is becoming less reliable. Didn't have the need to get up on a ladder during the six years I was renting. At our house in the Twin Cities the gutters were nearly 30 feet off the ground. I wasn't exactly thrilled to be up there, but got used to it after a little while. Now 12 feet seems like a risk.
