Doing some research myself and there have been top down demos... but they tend to be small buildings that have been completely gutted. Quite different to a 110 story building that hasn't been prepped. you're falling into the "melt steel" trap. You don't have to turn steel to molten goop.. you need to heat it enough to weaken the molecular bonds - which investigators found!
