At this time I am still joining social sites. Face Book would have to be my favorite outside of my main audience of bikers. Reason; I get to meet professionals such as your self. Speaking of which I wish to contact you about your services and how you can help me better improve my business.

Thanks Kenny - this is also posted on the NewWard Fan page - we've been having a fun discussion about it, feel free to join in. Kick me an email - let me know how I can help you!

Watched my almost-three-year-old son have a serious meltdown from extreme crankiness over a roasted marshmallow falling in the fire post-fireworks. Otherwise, a great day!

I am so sick of this team. I want everyone fired. I want the baby, the bathwater, the sink, the toilet, the whole bathroom out the window. I’ve been watching this since 2004. It doesn’t matter who you bring in, it’s the same thing. Humiliation. Pain

TROY, N.Y. -- With Mother's Day just around the corner one local group is taking the opportunity to give back to underprivileged mothers and it's an event that has caught on across the nation. Mothers and More held its "Power of a Purse" event at the T

I have been playing with Twitwall and thought I'd share some of its uses. If you have a twitter profile, you already have an account. Give it a go!

I recently participated on a panel for the Tech Valley Not For Profit Council on how to effectively use Web 2.0 in Not For Profit marketing efforts. By the time I and the 2 other panalists were finished, the majority of the attendees’ heads were spinning with all the information they just received. It takes a while to absorb something that is so vastly different from what you are used to… so I figured that putting it in plain English might be of some help.

In honor of blog action day, I thought I'd share a story with you. If nothing else, it will help to debunk the mind set that one person can not have an impact on the world!

"While some of us may not live in poverty - we've taken action... either by talking about it, donating or actually going someplace to lend a hand. Beats talking down an idea that has gained the participation of 10's of thousands of bloggers, not to mention the media."

"I am glad you enjoyed my adventure - it worked out great and I actually had fun with the lesson! And Benny - you are right... if we are going to put it all out there, the least you can do is get on the line with us if you have something to say about it!"

I slept in on Monday morning (hey, it was a holiday) and received a wake up call that the servers were spiking, so I got up to take a look. My blog post along with one of my client’s, received some 4000 hits each at about the same time.

"This is something I have been wondering as well. Why is a post with 360 votes not on the front page, when another post with 150 is listed as #1? Both posts were submitted in the same time frame."

"I appreciate your well thought out comments. On some levels I do agree with you. Those that do abuse the system should be banned. In the cases that I am referring to, no such abuses took place. A few people that I know were banned for Digging a site with a photo they enjoyed. Later the photo was replaced with an ad. They were banned for Digging spam, without warning and only getting an explanation after much effort. I do not think that is appropriate behavior for a web site like this."
- Melissa Ward
"Thanks for the comments... The article was not written as bait - it's just my opinion. I earnestly believe that a site like Digg should exist for the benefit of the community at large. By not making the TOS transparent and by permanently banning those that violated it unknowingly, I think Digg has done a disservice to all. Are their abusers in the system - absolutely. And should they be banned - yes. But many of the people who were banned simply did not know better or were victims of a "bait and switch" post. When customer service is contacted and no response or rude responses are received in turn, then it is obvious that there is a break down in the system. The web is about communication, open communication. Any site or service that wants to succeed in this market needs to be open with its users."

This is a rather uncharacteristic blog post for me, but I just feel the need to get it out. Go ahead… blast away! As a very active member of the whole social networking scene, I get asked to digg, stumble, mixx and get out a good number of articles.
