Sigh @skonnard says no one is using friendfeed. Clueless. All you need to do is look at http://friendfeed.com/scoblei... & watch.
check in "nobodies!" :-) - Robert Scoble
nobody here but us nobodies - Christopher Galtenberg
Haihai - Simon Wicks
People who say stupid things are driving me nuts. All you need to do is look at my likes to see how stupid this is. - Robert Scoble
Is @skonnard speaking in relative terms? Because if he is, then "nobody" is using FriendFeed. And "nobody" is using Twitter either. - John E. Bredehoft
John:yeah, everyone is on Facebook! :-) - Robert Scoble
When people say no one is using FF they simply mean FF's numbers are vastly smaller than Twitter or Facebook - there's no denying that. - Nick Reynolds
So, how are all you nobodies doing today? I'm tired. - Robert Scoble
Truth to tell, 6+ billion people aren't on Facebook. That gives you perspective. - John E. Bredehoft
Just another nobody here. Nothin' to see... - FFing Enigma (aka Tina)
Tina, this is the first time I saw your new name. Like it! - John E. Bredehoft
Nice to see things are slowing down here so I can watch.:-) - Robert Scoble
Judy: two fail whales today and I've only been on it six times. Not good. - Robert Scoble
Welcome to the future. Twitter is so last year. - AJ Kohn
AJ: Twitter is this year. Friendfeed is next year. :-) - Robert Scoble
@Robert: I was going to go for Twitter is so 'aughts' and FF is so 'teens' but wasn't sure how that would fly. - AJ Kohn
If no one is on friendfeed why is my feed moving so fast? http://beta.friendfeed.com/scoblei... - Robert Scoble
Clemens: you are a nobody. Welcome t o the nobody thread! :-) - Robert Scoble
3 minutes and 20 comments. Yeah ... sorry, Twitter can't even begin to emulate that type of interaction. - AJ Kohn
Clemens, how are things going in building42 up at Microsoft? - Robert Scoble
Let the experts talk, its nothing but hot air. - Demian Vonder Kuhlen
I am nobody. - Chrimmus Tad
you're doing the first practical form of crowdsource :) pressing play is the fun part of the ff new UI. we will see if it will make also for the chil social lifestreaming we all could use eventually - Dani Radu
AJ: I get that kind of response over on Twitter. It's just that no one can find all of the comments. - Robert Scoble
Dani: I +love+ the new realtime UI for single threads. - Robert Scoble
I am not a nobody. Who is @skonnard - sounds like a nobody if I ever heard of one. - Brian Sullivan
I'm pretty sure I saw @noone around here earlier... - Ken Sheppardson
Brian: Skonnard is a programmer at Microsoft. - Robert Scoble
Robert, FF should be more then a single thread treat ;) - Dani Radu
@Robert: But that's sort of the point, RT *dialog* not RT "ships passing in the night" is the real benefit of FF. - AJ Kohn
nobody, one-two-one-two check check. annnnd I have 11 things queued while typing this!! - Niall Connellan
Dani: have you seen the new DM feature? It freaking ROCKS compared to Twitter. - Robert Scoble
I'm a social media expert and I use FriendFeed. Here's my card! - Daniel J. Pritchett
Robert: so then he is a nobody? - Brian Sullivan
Myers, welcome to the nobody club! :-) - Robert Scoble
To be honest.. I use twitter less now with the new friendfeed beta - Qbat
lol i love the feed rooms of FF! - Aaron S
@Robert, no wonder ..coder @msft always belive that 'nobody' use's anything else other then MSN !! Big mistake.. the ivory tower still stand !! - Peter Dawson
FriendFeed DMs are huge... I wrote up a long post yesterday on how much more powerful they are than contemporary one to one messaging. You thought Twitter was cooler than email, wait til you start DMing three people and copying it to your public feed. You can see a DM turn into a 500 comment public page! - Daniel J. Pritchett
I'd love for the comment button to be on the bottom of the stream - Mark Essel
Brian: I know Aaron Skonnard "BB" (Before Blogging). He's cool, I'm just having some fun. - Robert Scoble
Mark: if you visit the thread's permalink it is. - Robert Scoble
@Mark - comment button is at the bottom of the stream if you click through to the single post page. Click on the timestamp. Click on it again to see the convo in a little popout. - Daniel J. Pritchett
Mark: open this up in a new window: http://beta.friendfeed.com/scoblei... - Robert Scoble
The best thing is that Aaron Skonnard also has an account here - Tapio Kulmala
haha! vunderbar, thanks Robert - Mark Essel
Tapio: of course he does, he's a "nobody." :-) - Robert Scoble
now how do I find this permalink normally? - Mark Essel
Mark: click on the time stamp on each message. - Robert Scoble
heh, don't think I would have figured that out without help, much obliged - Mark Essel
how did you know my name is No One? - sasamat
Thanks for the permalink tip. nice - James Beake
ok next question, how do I see all my twitter friends streamed into ff? and keep you guys from having to see it in my public feed? - Mark Essel
Of course people are using FriendFeed, but let's get real about it. If he's speaking in relative terms, then compared to Twitter (5-10 mill est) and Facebook (200 mill), FriendFeed may look like a niche - very niche - audience. - Sarah Perez
Wow, look at all the people not using FriendFeed. So sad. - Carlton Prest
Mark: there's a Twitter import tool, but it will only import them in for people already on friendfeed. Sarah: I know, I'm having some fun. - Robert Scoble
@Sarah - Facebook is niche compared to email. - Daniel J. Pritchett
I'm not here - Mistletoe Glen
im just gonna do a UI related comment :) watching this thread, i figured we don't really need our avatar picture in front our posts :) or comments for that matter. its more about what it's shared then who shares it :D - Dani Radu
robert, thanks for the no-op ;) - bob phillips
Glen: I'm not here. I'm actually in San Antonio sitting with execs at Rackspace. - Robert Scoble
@Dani - I agree with you in the context of a rapidly growing single-thread conversation, but not in the overall feed where we're getting a wider variety of content thrown at us. I love the avatars. - Daniel J. Pritchett
Hey we already went through this hhttp://beta.friendfeed.com/itblogg... - Alex Scoble
@Daniel, that's what twitter said :D - Dani Radu
file not found Alex - Mark Essel
(insert fail whale equivelant) - Mark Essel
getting the same message - Mark Essel
that worked Daniel - Mark Essel
They're right. No one uses this service. Wait.... - Steve Lynch from twhirl
hi - Anne Bouey
O rly. What an idiot. Plenty of people use it. I use it daily without even realizing it since all my accounts on websites are tied to FF. So :P - Danny Minick
Why don't you link to http://beta.friendfeed.com/scoblei...? They're more activity there! - Jérôme Flipo
Well if what it takes to be using friendfeed is to be a nobody then that is what i am :) and with some fine company too famous nobodies even ;) - guruvan (Rob Nelson) from fftogo
The internet and websites in general are subject to highs and lows just like everything else in pop culture.Highly popular sites aren't necessarily better just as lesser known/frequented sites aren't necessarily inferior.the population in general flock to "the next big thing" and almost as quickly abandon it with the rest of the fair weather fans. - Stuart
No one is using FriendFeed in comparison to what its usage will be two years from now. - Bruce Lewis
I never use FriendFeed. It's such a waste of energy and a time sink. - Louis Gray
So if everybody is watching the RT feed go by, nobody is really distracted from their actual work ... metaphorically speaking ... - Rene Wirtz
and I pointed out to Duncan Riley on his recent post http://www.inquisitr.com/21382... slow growth is not a curse. On the other hand exponential growth has been in the early dotcom days, and is now for twitter. Go Friendfeed! - guruvan (Rob Nelson)
Friendfeed does a good job feeding my feeds. - polou/indigo_bow
What is FriendFeed? I am a nobody located at http://friendfeed.com/tweetfe... - Tweet Feeds
Nobody here in Bangalore, India, uses it either. "Sorry, Mr. Buchheit, but I really tried to get some of my friends here to sign up!" - Siddharth Deb
I wonder if opening up the # of users would quell all of these weird anxieties that "nobody is using it..." btw never had that anixety with early Twitter if memory served me right. It wasn't the # of people using it.. just whether the right ones were! - anna sauce
maybe they mean nobody outside of Scoble's posse is using FF? - Christian Crumlish
Glen Campbell isn't here. He's in Galveston. Or Wichita (working as a lineman). Or on his way to Phoenix (no telling when he'll get there). - The Web's Wendell Wittler
By Mass Media Relative Measuring Standards (which are a stupid but common way to measure things), the FriendFeed masses just aren't mass enough. - The Web's Wendell Wittler
Sometimes it's better to use the service "nobody uses" if it means less strain on the servers and less visits from the Fail Whale. (Is there a FF equivalent? Does it need one?) - The Web's Wendell Wittler
Actually, pointing people to http://beta.friendfeed.com/scoblei... does NOT show them how busy friendfeed is - it just shows them your posts, Robert. You still have to point them to http://friendfeed.com/scoblei... to show them what you see from the 14K people you follow. - Laura Norvig
As Yogi Berra said "Nobody goes there no more. It's too crowded." - Kevin Leroux
I see lots of marketing folks using FF, not so many technologists. IRC is still the best real time method for communication for morlocks atm. - Sam Levine
I am nobody waiting for Maryam to pick me up in SFO. - Robert Scoble
I am Jack's complete lack of surprise. - Daniel J. Pritchett
Odysseus is on FF? Sweet! Always was a clever lad, Odysseus. - jojo, adventurer
Nobody97 is checking in. the new FF is very nice. :-) - John McCullough
Thats true..I guess! - Krishnamoorthy
nobody is here!!!!!! - Benno
i'm nobody and i'm here! - MikeAmundsen
yep, it's a ghost town over here - Susan Beebe
I use FriendFeed, but I doubt I count. ;) - Tyson Key

Tech crowd of Chicago, come share drinks with @andyangelos and me in Wrigleyville if you have a spare moment. 7:30. I'll be on Twitter!
What bar on Clark?!! - Niall Connellan

Raise your hand if you work at home. Then tell me what you do to improve your productivity/be social. Yep, I work from home. Mostly.
I spend half of my time working on site at a clients place and the other half at home. Sometimes it's hard working from home because it's so easy to get distracted and spend hours online. It's nice to get out every few hours, even if it's just a walk around the block to pick up a cup of coffee or something small like that. It also helps to have a room you only enter when you want to work. Helps to get you in work mode. - Niall Connellan

iTunes changed its prices! Good, bad? nowpublic.com
Not sure. I don't really want to have to pay more then 99c!! Maybe I'll go back to using Acquisition!! - Niall Connellan

I just did a few thing from friends - Made some of the text a bit smaller, gave a bit more breathing room from picture. - Ben Parr
The checkboxes are a fun idea. - Niall Connellan
Matt Cutts
Great romantic comedy movies: 1. Princess Bride. 2. Serendipity 3. L.A. Story. 4. Forgetting Sarah Marshall. What's your #5?
My Sassy Girl. - imabonehead
When Harry Met Sally... - Ryan Garns
Chasing Amy, and High Fidelity - Piaw Na
Before Sunset is #1, and I'd swap Stardust for Princess Bride (I think Yvaine is a better character than Buttercup), drop Serendipity... never saw LA Story or Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Would add Truly, Madly, Deeply. And Cousins even though Ted Danson's only serviceable in the male role, cause Isabella Rossellini was perfect in it. OK, that's 4; I'll throw in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind to round it out. - Andrew C
Tie: Armageddon and Pearl Harbor - Ken Sheppardson
I always kind of liked Notting Hill - MG Siegler
Love Actually, hands down - Jacob Mullins
Barfly? - Thomas Hawk
Forgetting Sarah Marshall is Hi-Larious!!! I love that movie! - Niall Connellan
MG Siegler, I like Notting Hill too, but considered objectively, the Julia Roberts character is _horrible_! - Andrew C
Don't forget Leaving Las Vegas. - Ken Sheppardson
Repo Man? - Thomas Hawk
Also the English Patient - Ken Sheppardson
White Men Can't Jump? - Chrimmus Tad
I think this is what they call "thread trashing" - Ken Sheppardson
The Philadelphia Story, and it would rank much higher on this list. - cecily
Blue Velvet? - Thomas Hawk
No order: Never Been Kissed...oh wait, I don't really watch romantic comedies. This is going to be hard...10 Things I Hate About You. Does Love & Basketball count? Fine, The Princess Bride. Run Fat Boy Run and yes, I chuckled a bit at Hitch. - Admiral Anika
I'm not sure i agree with 1-4 - Outsanity
is it weird most of the commenters on this thread are male? just an observation. carry on. - Maya Baratz
Duh. The 40 Year Old Virgin. Oh and Mr. Wrong. I LOVE that movie. And The Wedding Singer. - Admiral Anika
No, Maya, no, not weird at all. ;-) - Jacob Mullins
No Country for Old Men? - Thomas Hawk
chris: true, but still... jacob: i would have guessed your favorite would have cats in it. or at least be a musical. :p - Maya Baratz
Maya: So what if I sing showtunes while shopping for flasher jackets, that doesn't mean anything! - Jacob Mullins
Maya, it is weird that so many men aren't doing it right. Looking at you, Thomas Hawk. ;) Anika, good one on The Wedding Singer. Totally forgot that one. When Harry Met Sally and Love Actually are pretty high up there too. - Matt Cutts
oops. ;) - Thomas Hawk
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind - Chris, Taskerrific Guy
If Alien is a romantic comedy then so is Fight Club and Danny the Dog. - Jimminy Fuller
I think people are only reading romantic movies. The English Patient was so NOT a comedy. LOL Actually, I can't say that, I turned off the movie 20 min. in, maybe it got funny later. - Admiral Anika
Oh, romcoms, not romantic movies in general? Pretty Woman. - Chris, Taskerrific Guy
fyi, so hard for me to pick a romantic comedy. they usually consist of at least 20% crap/filler scenes. And there's no 80/20 rule here. Chris W.: Eternal Sunshine is as much a romantic comedy as Valkyrie. - Maya Baratz
Braveheart - ronin
Maya: I'm NOT Chris White. - Chris, Taskerrific Guy
It's obvious that there's some variation here when it comes to sense of humor. Some folks seem to have completely missed the point of some of our suggestions. - Ken Sheppardson
If Princess Bride is in the list, then clearly we're not just talking about formulaic romcoms to begin with. Princess Bride was no funnier than most of my list... - Andrew C
50 First Dates and Juno are the only two I actually own that fit into the romcom genre - Jimminy Fuller
+1 for Juno. and Rush Hour 2 - Maya Baratz
10 Things I Hate About You (don't judge me) - Kevin Fox
Army of Darkness? - Jauder Ho
40 Days and 40 Nights? Mainly romantic but it has it's humor. - Jimminy Fuller from twhirl
10 Things I Hate About You, 50 First Dates, and While You Were Sleeping for me. There are probably more - Joe Pierce
50 First Dates and When Harry Met Sally have to be on the list. :) - Don MacAskill
I don't get the fascination with 50 First Dates. That movie creeped me out big time. - Admiral Anika
Notting Hill - Sampad Swain
Anika: I can see 50 First Dates being a little creepy, especially with 10 Second Tom. A few more favorites are A Knight's Tale and How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days. - Jimminy Fuller
How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days is a big guilty pleasure of mine (well most of these movies are) - Joe Pierce
not sure on order, but Princess Bride definitely; +1 to Andrew C's addition of Stardust just because Neil Gaiman is freaking amazing; Sliding Doors as the movie you've most likely never heard of that you should watch in the category; Desk Set for a classic; and The American President. - Chris Abbey
Secretary, Bridget Jones, Chasing Amy, Pride & Prejudice & While You Were Sleeping. - Alix Whitmire
Oh yeah, A Knight's Tale for sure. - Admiral Anika
I'll add to Cecily's classics... Breakfast at Tiffany's (sic), Roman Holiday, The Shop Around the Corner, It Happened One Night, Sabrina. - LogEx
There's Something About Mary. - Chris, Taskerrific Guy
Annie Hall - Tödd Nëmët
Def Never Been Kissed. Great that you included LA Story - I love that movie :) - adf
Does "Tommy Boy" count? - Jeff Eddings
No particular order, Notting Hill, Love Actually, Best Man, When Harry Met Sally, 40 Year Old Virgin - Bryan R. Adams
I definitely would have added "You've Got Mail" - Damond Nollan
I'd say Princess Bride, Harold & Maude, LA Story, Annie Hall, and The American President. Kevin, don't be embarrassed about 10 Things... it's Taming of the Shrew, right? - Keith Pelczarski
Chris DiMaso
Flutter: Twitter Spoof, http://digg.com/d1o1qr
I thought they did a good job on this - Niall Connellan
Alex Scoble
Is it just me or does friendfeed look a lot more like Twitter now?
dING DING DING... - MVB (Grinch of FF)
Yeah, just a bit... - J. Abdul-Qahhar
that's just cause they changed the menu size! - Joelle Nebbe (iphigenie)
I don't see anything wrong with that, however. - Akiva Moskovitz
Because of the focus on your avatar? Yes. I like it, though. - Jordan Hofker
Just with a way to actually follow discussions. :) Ah, why is this scrolling. Ahhhhhh... - Holger Eilhard
it move as fast for sure. Real time is already moving past me faster than twitter updates. - Todd Jordan
Yes, but better. - Robert Scoble
Except for the inline replies and comments. Makes it so much easier to follow conversations. - Paul Jacobson
Please explain. The new beta that comes out in 30 minutes or the current FF? - Mike Reynolds
I agree. Feels like there's a lot more emphasis on the post box. - Brandon Titus
Nope it's not you, looking very twitterish - Bryan Thatcher
Do you like it or dislike it Alex? - Nation Hahn
Looks like Twitter, but makes Twitter look like a screen capture... - Robert Clockedile
Oh, I see it now. :) - Mike Reynolds
I wish there's an "expand/collapse" more comments feature... - brainno722 (Peter)
But then again, Twitter, FriendFeed, Facebook . . . All three are looking very similar - Niall Connellan
Maybe twitter will change soon to look like the old version of ff? - JSNFLMNG
A little, but not really that much. - Mathew™ one of a kind
I like the features they've added. I'm not a fan of the real time feature so just will have it perpetually paused and will refresh like I always did with the old tool. Overall I think it's a good thing. - Alex Scoble
Looks more like IRC chat - Andrew Leyden
If it's just you, then it's me too. - Vijayendra (V-Mo) Mohanty
I am still seeing the old design so I have no opinion yet. Why am I always the last to get these things? - pcnerd37
don't we have enough twitters already? Let's just turn them all into one - oh wait...that's what FF does. - shaun mclane
open both in two tabs.... :o0 interesting. ;o) - Rob Sellen :o)
Very twitteresque. I agree with its negative impact on my productivity! - Patrick Driscoll
More real-time - Steve Rubel
It's better then twitter tbqh. Faster. Even twitter desktop clients don't match the raw speed of this stuff. Epic. - Will Higgins™
When I saw it I thought Facebook meets Twitter. I like it. - Jonathan Callahan from twhirl
Not sure I like that removal of the source icons. I cannot quickly identify from where the posts are originating. Before you could see if the content was from a blog, Twitter, Flickr or Delicious. Now it looks like it was passed through a Twitter-izer machine to look like Twitter but in real-time. Functionally though, I like it. This is only a small gripe. - Rolf Schewe
twitter is much more better than this new style of friendfeed . - Viva Vida
Just tested out the search: it's pretty cool too. I guess a good search could make it easier to track stuff you might have missed due to it flying past. - Will Higgins™
twitter is NOT real time - NOT the same. - Susan Beebe
Actually to me, it looks more like a chat room or MUSH this time around. - Phil G
Right, Susan. It isn't the same as Twitter, but it sure looks a lot like Twitter now. - Alex Scoble
If it does then my ejection cord is ready to be pulled. - Richard A.
Yes, it is in fact pictures of people next to what they typed. It also looks like Facebook, Disqus, Jaiku, and pretty much every other service with, you know, people who type stuff. - Ken Sheppardson
Realtime Facebook is more like it. - Hutch Carpenter
it's more like IRC - Dobromir Hadzhiev
Like Tweetree with that threaded tweet view - Martha
But the threading makes all the difference! - Rich
+1 dobromir with a threaded display - Olivier
Yep... I'm seeing the resemblances. - Ken Stewart | ChangeForge
But these conversations are threaded. - Mike Reynolds
mabye it can be spatially separated like iPhone SMS...speech bubbles on left-and-right side? - brainno722 (Peter)
You should be able to comment at the bottom of a thread... - Alex C. Williams
Yeah, I already commented there, Shey. Facebook looks nothing like the new friendfeed. Facebook is hugely cluttered. - Alex Scoble
this is driving me nuts. - Kamilah Gill
What is this Twit-Hur you speak of? - Steven Perez
wouldn't know since I never go over there. I like the design though... so far. - Jim: Dead Like FF
Louis Gray
What I hate about real-time web (your productivity goes to hell) - http://scobleizer.com/2009...
It's true. I can't take my eyes off FriendFeed right now! This just spells disaster for me! - Niall Connellan
learn to let go! - Joelle Nebbe (iphigenie)
Totally agree! - Ninh Nguyen
Hey Louis! Glad to see you on FF hyper fast mode beta! - Susan Beebe
Somebody hit the FF Turbo button. - Ken Sheppardson
No, someone just decided to let everyone know how fast Friendfeed really goes - Tyler (Chacha)
big report due today but can't.keep.eyes.off.of.FF. - metalerik
Aren't we all like kids with a new toy now re:FF? - William Mougayar
I'll stop for a while if you will. - Ken Sheppardson
Should be renamed FriendSpeed. - William Mougayar
Susan, I've BEEN on FF hyperfast mode beta. It's you we were waiting for. - Louis Gray
This looks like Louis is saying this - Jesse Stay
I know. It's me sharing an item from Scoble, and it says it's me. That's something either that has to get updated, or that we should get used to. - Louis Gray
My lunch hour has extended beyond the norm... I was fine when I didn't open the beta :) - Bwana ☠
Bwana - so did your lunch hour become lunch afternoon?! ;) - Susan Beebe
Brian Sullivan
This just in -- the new FF interface is fugly (not to mention seizure inducing).
This is really stupid -- does this mean that we all will have to put up with this real time interface -- no other options? My opinion - I would stop using FF if that were the case. - Brian Sullivan
So does the paused interface still do periodic refreshes? - Brian Sullivan
I don't think so, but I don't know yet. Still getting my toes wet - FFing Enigma (aka Tina)
not sure I'm gonna like the new FF layout....looks so much like twitter IMHO - Ⓐ ☠ slayerboy ☠ Ⓐ
Brian: not sure that paused pages automatically refresh. I'm still getting used to it too. I like it 89% and hate it 11%. - Robert Scoble
Get the Firefox plug-in, very easy to use - Dave Hodson
same as new facebook its not the interface its how you use it and utilise it - Damian Holmes
I'm trying to like it - but this isn't going to get me back to using FF - Frederic
agree with Damian, but I also believe in the case of FB and now FF they are likely going to need to give users choice on which UI they prefer to play in. - Patrick Boegel
Does not seem like the new paused interface does periodic refreshes. But I would imagine it's something they could add back on pretty easily. Although personally I refresh manually all the time anyway. - ronin
Actually, it would be really nice if you could access the pause button from anywhere on the page. Since it moves so fast, it's a little frustrating to have to scroll all the way to the top to pause, then back down to read. Anyone agree? - Niall Connellan
One thing they're still missing is a "collapse" button. I often open the "more comments" link to see what people are saying but then I have no way to collapse that if I what to move on without refreshing the entire page. - Kevin Kuphal
In some ways, it's too much like Twitter. I think FF should make an API in such way that people can build their own interfaces on top of the data. I would have gone a different route. I would have made it more like Outlook and Google Reader, and think about "work flow" (as in GTD, etc), not only conversation. - Meryn Stol
When paused is clicked everywhere the new beta FF has pretty much the same operational feel as the old one. The real time option really was not what I was looking for. I am not sure I agree with those that think real time running should not be the default - new users with a few subscribers might find it works just fine for them. Then as their subscribed number grows, lists or pausing can be discovered. - Brian Sullivan
I still don't care for the UI visuals but I can live with or ignore them. - Brian Sullivan
Have to disagree with you on this one. - Brian Hoffman
LPH™ and his dog P™
OK. Everyone -- STOP posting for one minute and let me catch up
Phew - thanks - now I feel better ;) - LPH™ and his dog P™
Or, you can click "pause" and relax! :-) - Robert Scoble
Someone mentioned that if you click the Comment button on any feed it will make it stop temporarily - Haggis (Sean Loyless)
But then it builds up. In the time it takes to write this comments, I have 12 things queued up - Tyler (Chacha)
Time to make some lists. :) - Rob
If you want to slow things down, click "Filters", give your new filter a name, check "My friends and groups" and click "Save Filter". Then use that filter as your main view. It won't refresh automatically, and you can just reload when you like. (At least it won't refresh automatically for now... that's coming) - Ken Sheppardson
