Nick spent his first night in his new flat last night. The list of things that need fixing is growing nicely. A phone call to the letting agents on Monday, I think.

Slept in the new flat last night. A bit noisy but bearable.

Have been carrying stuff over to the new flat. Am now knackered, so time to relax.

Nick has keys, a new flat and has checked that everything is working. Hooray!

Nick is annoyed that there was a small problem with the order for mobile broadband but instead of getting in touch they just let the order sit there. Still, it's all sorted out now and the dongle should be delivered tomorrow.

The doctor has just signed me off work for another week. At least it'll make moving easier.

@jeff_ginge A meh day is a bad day. Naughty food should help with that quite nicely. :-)

Nick has paid the letting agent all their money and is picking up the keys to the new flat tomorrow afternoon. Yay!

I'm picking up the keys to my new flat at 5pm tomorrow. I feel quite excited!

Meeting friends for lunch in a truly excellent pub.

Nick has found his library card and will be putting it to very good use.

Nick is hoping his mobile broadband dongle will arrive today so it can be tested.

Nick is back from seeing his Dad. Not very happy at all. He really is a shadow of his former self.

Back in London and making my way home.

My dad has suddenly become a very frail old man. Not unexpected but still distressing to see.

At the airport and checked in already. Departure lounges are so dull. Reading and drinking hot chocolate.

Off to the Isle of Man this morning. Back home tomorrow.

Nick is ridiculously warm already. This flat is very stuffy.

Sweating already. It's very hot in this flat and opening the window doesn't seem to help.
