@paulmadsen Heh yes, thus the passport idea, but that doesn't work very well. Will think more... :)
@nof20 Welcome home, and yes IRIS is cool :)
@paulmadsen Thanks. Yes, you're right... Was trying to think of something that's not my employee badge - something non-proprietary.

Bum. The day after ordering Xmas gifts from Amazon, I win a £10 Amazon voucher.

Still ill. Eyes glazing over whilst trying to compare the merits of various UNIX into AD solutions. Not very exciting at the best of times!
@richardkeen Congratulations to you both :)
Impressive: 56 papers in 45 countries take the unprecedented step of speaking with one voice through a common editorial http://www.guardian.co.uk/comment...
Unamused at the prospect of work tomorrow after two days of being ill.
@mattb Got my @wireduk yesterday. Strange, yet cool, to see a person I've met (once or twice) next to an article referencing Al Gore. :)
Not sure I want to give Google even more data, but Google DNS is *fast*
@ZopaUK Understood. Unfortunately most of my loans are in the 1-2yrs ago period, so that 4% bond would have been appealing :)
@ZopaUK Makes sense but a little disingenuous in current climate, ought to subtract bad debt assumption? Fixed rate bond is (mostly) safe!
@thegareth Just used VbV to pay my card bill. Get taken to an obscure domain unrelated to my bank. Not sure how that helps.
@ZopaUK Is 8.0%pa after bad debt & fees, and does it assume money is instantly relent? Loans for that must be more than 10% to borrowers?
@richardkeen Based on my recent FCC experiences, are you sure it wasn't a massively delayed preceding train rather than an early one? :)
Cripes. http://squareup.com uses headphone jacks on mobile phones into turn them into credit card processors. (via @mrchrisadams)
@paulmadsen I'm not sure there's a non-obscene response to that :)
Wondering if there's irony in the fact saml.xml.org has been hacked? Currently offering 'girth widening' alongside security standards.
Thinking that the new Twitter location API should use FireEagle or similar to abstract my location. 'Exact' is too much detail to give away.
Trying Twitter via Adium. Weird.
Building VMs for work at the weekend. Can't get more fun than that.
It would seem I've volunteered for too much work. Fun work, but still. Going to be a busy week.
RT @thegareth: RT @FakeAPStylebook: Use the term "free-range turducken" only if the turkey has eaten both the duck and the chicken.
Excited about starting a new project. Should put laptop down and get an early night really.
@DrNathanator We certainly shouldn't trust them with our data; need to try and build open, trustworthy systems, ironically along US lines...
