It is *really* coming down now and starting to stick. I am definitely not looking forward to the commute home this evening. There are already reports of a fatal accident which resulted in a 15-car pile-up closing a major section of the interstate.

XBOX 360 PEOPLE: Zak has become quite little gamer recently and I am wondering if there are some good multiplayer (either competitive or co-op) games that would be fun for younger kids AND parents? He is 5 going on about 15 but something geared towards the younger crowd but still fun for me as well. Any ideas?
Kenton: Sadly Sony has an exclusive deal on that one :(

My kids & I like the Lego Batman and Lego Star Wars games. I don't know exactly what kind of game you're looking for, but my 6 year old plays Uno & Puzzle Quest (the latter, she plays with me). The 3 yr. plays Bankshot Billiards 2 and Boogie Bunnies. Both of them liked the Madagascar demo. They both play Pac-Man, Galaga, Centipede, Space Invaders, Lumines, Zuma and Geometry Wars. Oh, yes...they also both play racing games; Forza is a favorite of theirs.

Anika: Thanks for the feedback! Sounds like just trying some demos from the marketplace and checking out some Xbox Arcade games might be the best way to go! Thanks again :)
- Nicholas Kreidberg
Yes, the Arcade is useful; funny since we bought most of these games way before the kids even started playing. The controls are easy enough for them and my since my son doesn't read & my girl doesn't read that fast, it's better for *me* when I don't have to sit there reading everything to them.

Anika, good call on the Lego stuff. My kids would play Lego Indiana Jones all day if they could. My wife and I can easily waste a couple of hours on it too.

My helpers show up while I'm trying to keep things lint-free just prior to hanging. So I then get to spend double the time removing kitty claws from blouses and sweaters and then lint-rolling them on the hanger. I need to get cats that match the colors I most frequently wear so I don't have to worry about stray hairs...

"So, what is it all of these governments don’t quite understand? Someone is going to have to help me out here! Some of them say they are ‘Optimized for Internet Explorer 6 and Firefox 1.0′. Firefox 1.0?! How many years ago was that?"

"A true panoramic photo is a continuous scene of at least 110 degrees. Many panoramic photos are about the width of the field of human vision, while some go as wide as 360 degrees. Panorama photos can be classified as vertorama (vertical panorama), polar, planar or flat, cylindrical, equi-rectangular, and so on."

"Uh oh, bit.ly couldn't find a link for the bit.ly URL you clicked. Maybe one of the pufferfish ate it, or maybe there are some extra characters on the end of the URL. Most bit.ly URLs are 4-6 characters, and only include letters and numbers. "
