"I love trains and Europe has a great network. Overnight trains are great to get from A to B but daytime trains let you see C on the way. Depends how much time you have and how much you want to see C. I can’t wait for them to build the high-speed track from San Francisco to Los Angeles – federal funds have been earmarked so hopefully it will actually happen."

@Keira_McIntosh As for Gill, I do enjoy his writing usually, but I'm going to find it hard to get past this and I'm not sure if I want to.
@markhjones You and @mumbrella have a few things in common. Eg. vision, imagination, willingness to experiment - important for editors.
@Keira_McIntosh Yes, I appreciate that - but he still killed the baboon. :-( I definitely don't think everyone has to have the same opinion.
@Keira_McIntosh For fun. Not self defence (baboon didn't attack and he went to Africa for the purpose). Not food (baboons are inedible).
