@lazycoder I won't be able to attend unless it's against the MVP summit. Much too expensive to make two trips.
@lazycoder I get that not everyone going to ALT.NET are MVPs, but I think that the inter-mixing was a good thing last year. JMHO
@lazycoder Well, no, but I can't imagine it being *that* expensive.
@lazycoder CLE->SEA round trip costs $235 for the MVP summit. I imagine extending it a couple days wouldn't matter much.
Booked for the MVP summit. Haven't booked the flights yet in the hopes that there'll be an ALT.NET even on one end... :)
@colin_jack Stafford is good. I think eventually he might be really good.
Re: self serve advertising on reddit is now open for business! - http://blog.reddit.com/2009...
"We'd like to give this a shot for our startup, but I was confused about the timing of the campaign. I'd like to run an ad only Monday-Friday, but if I choose to run an ad from Monday 12/14 to Friday 12/18, it says my bid is only for four days. I take it the dates aren't inclusive, but which way does it go?" - Nate Kohari
Getting close to pulling the plug on my VM and going back to developing natively. Not sure it's worth the hassle.
Tempted to wait until VS 2010 RTMs, but March is a ways away.
I love the UX of Chrome Extensions. They put a lot of thought into this.
@averyj SHAMELESS!
@mjeaton Just remember, if you need to space things, add a bunch of &nbsps. Also use tables. Right @arcware? :D
Oh, and @schambers, but he was really just the comic relief. (I KID!)
Getting random SMSes from Twitter. That's a bad sign.
I'd like to take this time to say that @averyj, @jaymed, and @mjeaton are awesome, and we wouldn't have made it where we are without them.
@KISSmetrics Looks great. I can't wait to check out the beta closer, just need the time to integrate with our site.
Just found the first mockup for Zen. It's come a little way since then. :) http://dl.dropbox.com/u...
Phoenix is a great band. (Hat tip @averyj)
@tehlike Trust me, I've been around the block enough to know I don't want to work w/o an ORM. That doesn't make NH perfect.
@tehlike I wasn't saying I was more experienced than you! :) Just that I'm not anti-ORM.
@tehlike You're actually right, though. NHibernate's excessive complexity costs me money.
If anyone still reads my blog, you''ll notice a shift away from technical content in the future. It matches my shifting interests.
Hey, I remembered I have a blog! Guarantees, SLAs, and Hollow Promises: http://kohari.org/2009...
@kevindente TWICE THE HERTZ
@fallenrogue The platform isn't the problem. Don't blame the tools.

@subdigital I just have them installed locally. IE8 can become IE7 using the developer tools.
REMEMBER! In IE7, tables need to have a <tbody> element. If you draw one dynamically, you have to add the <tbody> or shit won't work.
@subdigital Nope. I pretend it doesn't exist. :)
