i upgraded my n810 to diablo, and installed a-gps betait still takes me forever and a day to get a gps lock, if ever. does ur location in the world play a part? .

i'm in singapore. i've installed a-gps beta, and moved the location pointer to the singapore region. but the gps still takes forever. is there some config file that i have to edit manually to get gps cranking?

a-gps shall work Ok in Singapore - send feedback to A-GPS project on betalabs http://www.nokia.com/A41163987 btw, do you have wifi or gprs/3g working while try to lock GPS? without that A-GPS is helpless

I find it very confusing that people tend to say "connected" - this is very old paradigm. for TCP/IP networks they prefer to say "has at least default gateway working" meaning that packets originated on your host (here it is N810) can go out and reach server. The fact it is bluetooth works as wireless *wire* between N810 and some phone , or whether it is WiFi - it doesn't matter much
