I think I'm going to actively look to subscribe to people outside the scobleverse, to get some perspective on things! Thanks Mitchell for making it so easy. :)
@bwana scobleverse was easier than scoble/arrington/gray centered social graph. ;) @britney - that's what I've heard, so far I've seen no evidence... ;)

Thanks Yuvi and Felix for giving us tools! Sorry Yuvi not to emphasize your contribution to all the wonderful statistics since before my time here. Pre-Shey-Hutch-Yuvi-Felix, if I looked at a random person in FriendFeed, all I saw was a pile of contact names. Now I can type their name into Felix's new engine http://ff.deasil.com/friendz... and BOOM....I can see a rough picture of the Top 100 people in their universe. Amazing!

Felix: I only found Dr. Hossein Mazidi (mhmazidi) because I stumbled upon the Persian room Persian-cam (IRANIAN photographers, 159 people) http://friendfeed.com/rooms...). Since mhmazidi and I have similar taste in pictures, your tool showed that he was #3 or #9 on my like-compatibility list...but I would not have noticed otherwise. When a lot of people like an item, most of the names are buried (we need a click to show the whole list of likes).

Ok, I think if I come across a profile page that has none of these scoble, arrington, gray, loic, calacanis (no offense to any of them - all in pursuit of finding different friendfeed zones) and they've got at least a few posts on the page that catch my eye I'm going to become a subscriber. :) We'll see how that goes. :) @mitch - I know, I was surprised when I couldn't find the whole list of likes - I think we used to be able to, no?

Agree with Duncan and do pretty much the same. Staying deeply tuned can destroy your own objectivity and creativity

I think this should go for everyone. Theres so much more out there to learn and soak up! Thats why Im subscribed to around 1200 people or so.
