Funny that not only time zones but different weather changes too. Here your having cold temps, and we are in the 90's to 100's.
- SheSaidIHaveNoFriends
At this time of year we should be in the high 70s at least. But then British weather has always been unpredictable.
- Zandranna
Why do some woman not get it that men DO NOT want to hang out with his wife and mother. Anyway, with that said, here's another Saturday sitting at home watching the world go by.
Hmmmm chancing that you're gonna hate me for saying this but if that's the case then what are you doing with a wife? Don't moan about it but do something about it if that's how you feel. Stop looking outside yourself for answers but go within and find whatever it is you're looking for.
- Spherical
Ok, share with me how I can, when I'm allowed no car to go somewhere or allowed no money to do with. Like yesterday, Wanda and I were suppose to go off and do something, but got stood up and she went off with her mother and I was left to sit at home. I know you guys don't believe how bad it is and think Wanda is at no wrong ever, so maybe I just never say another word.
- SheSaidIHaveNoFriends
Awwww no no that's not what I meant at all. What I meant was go and find ways to do what it is that you want to do without looking at others. So go and find ways to make extra money; have your own bank account for savings and work on getting that independence so that you can move forward. By depending on others you will always be at their mercy so to speak and you want to be free of that.
- Spherical
Well then don't! Just ease of a bit and it will still be beneficial to you Chilly. No point in overdoing it and then not being able to exercise at all.
- Spherical
LMAO! But it's the truth, I have no choice. My body has gone to hell and if I don't do something, NOW, I'll die plane and simple.
- SheSaidIHaveNoFriends
Yeah I get that but everything in moderation also counts for exercise matie; that way its easier to keep at it. :)
- Spherical
Been thinking after I made last comment here. So what's the down fall to the last part of my comment. Would it even matter!
- SheSaidIHaveNoFriends
Well it matter to me but the point here is that you need to make it matter to yourself matie!
- Spherical
I've had a really rotten weekend with not feeling well at all. Feeling a lot better now but it has left me weak, dizzy and sicky. Volunteering day tomorrow.
You know I've been thinking maybe I could give it a shot to hahahahaha but only when its not so windy though because my poor knee would not survive it. Might have a chat to my GP and see what he says.
- Spherical
Well, you have all those lovely bike lanes behind your home and if you took it really slowly and steady you could probably do it.
- Zandranna
Yeah I know Sandy and I might go and have a look at a bike lolol and go from there.
- Spherical
GOOOOOOOO for it Martha! Nothing like it in the world. Ok, maybe a big bowl of ice cream will beat it. (y'all didn't see me say that! lol) But you can do it. One of my knees are bad enough that I walk with a cane, and I can steal ride a bike. :-)
- SheSaidIHaveNoFriends
Saw my gp and its a big no no :( which I knew already but was hoping otherwise. I only have half a knee left and no strenuous weight baring exercise allowed. The arthritis is pretty bad to so I'm actually hurting and very stiff in the leg. Walking and swimming is allowed in moderation.
- Spherical
Oh Martha I am so sorry. Doctors over here have now started revising this business of not cycling when one has knee problems and just recently have discovered that in actual fact cycling can strengthen really bad knees. 5 years ago my niece was advised not to cycle, just recently her Doctor has completely altered his position and told her cycling will do her knees the world of good. Who does one believe??
- Zandranna
You know I actually know that cycling is good and if it hadn't been for the exercise bike I used some 5 years ago after I had all those surgeries to my knee I wouldn't be walking at all today! So I am going to look for a bike or exercise bike and I shall start it very very slow :). I honestly think that a lot of doctors have no idea what the bloody hell they're talking about. And lets face it; if it hurts to much then I will stop, as simple as that!
- Spherical
Martha, what about knee replacement?? Also there are bikes built today with the pedal crank pushed forward and much easier on the knees. We checked one out before I got the one I have now. They are so comfortable and the pedals actually were out in front of me instead of below me.
- SheSaidIHaveNoFriends
The most important thing Martha is to make sure the saddle and handle bars are at the correct height. If they aren't they can cause even the healthiest of us problems. Try the bike for a couple of rides. What doesn't feel right take it back to the shop and make them adjust it. Try it again, if it still feels like a strain to peddle then back to the shop again until you get it perfect. I...

- Zandranna
Yep I sure will do all that Sandy when I go and get a bike but right now its raining cats and dogs so I'm staying indoors hahahahahaha.
- Spherical
Chilly that will be me next option if I get more knee trouble and I'm trying to stay clear from that one as long as I can!
- Spherical
I understand how you feel Martha! But I know many that have had knee replacement done and all have had great success with it.
- SheSaidIHaveNoFriends
You are going great there Chilly; just don't overdo it and give your body time to rest to :).
- Spherical
Thanks a lot Ladies!! HUGS!! I working on trying to take days for resting Martha. I want to go to gym all the time, but I have to tell myself, 'no not today, need rest'. lol So far I'm giving myself Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday's for rest. But I am thinking of starting to go now and then on Sunday's.
- SheSaidIHaveNoFriends
Exercising can be addictive once one gets stuck in.
- Zandranna
You got that right! A good feeling at what you've done once you settle down from a good workout.
- SheSaidIHaveNoFriends
I've never looked at wordpress so have no idea lol
- Spherical
I prefer wordpress for the overall look of it - the basic settings are slightly more complicated to get used to and I have no idea if one can customise the css. They do have wysiwyg editor for skins though just as blogger does. They also have a great magazine skin which I love. Moving posts from blogger to wordpress is just one click but one does have to sort out the tag words once moved over.
- Zandranna
Reason for it: Have you seen the new Blogger dashboard design?? I can't figure how to get into my script sheet to do my mind coding now. Are they forcing us to use the new temple designs now???? I agree you can't do much with designing a skin at Wordpress unless you pay, but maybe I'm going to like Wordpress better now with what Blogger is doing. And I don't like the WYSIWYG post box on Blogger now either.
- SheSaidIHaveNoFriends
Did they change the dashboard again? I never used the old one, only been on the one with the new templates as I understand it. If you need some help let me know.
- BlueRose
To me it looks the same as it has for a very long time. One link takes one to the Template Designer and the other to the HTML.
- Zandranna
Sandy, not all have changed yet. Yours may be one that hasn't. On the new dashboard, there is no HTML button. Only has the Template designer.
- SheSaidIHaveNoFriends
On the new dashboard, you go to Design then at the top. You'll be on a page that lets you drag and drop all the parts of your page. At the topish to the left you'll see a button to edit the HTML. Its separate from the template designer.
- BlueRose
BlueRose, are you talking about the new dashboard that just came out in the last day or so?? It's now white and orange in colors. It's not the older blue and brown that we had.
- SheSaidIHaveNoFriends
Ah, just learned that I can click on the design button in the navbar on the blog itself and then I get the old stuff again. Now, hopefully they don't change the navbar too.
- SheSaidIHaveNoFriends
This is so not fair. I have been waiting for these changes and looking forward to them and I am one of the ones that haven't got them yet.
- Zandranna
Doesn't look that I have got it either Sandy.
- Spherical
Ah I must be on the old one then, which as I understand was new at one point. Oh well, I tried, lol.
- BlueRose
Jesus, this really angers me when everything new they add is automatically enabled. Facebook has no morals whatsoever. More and more I am thinking of deleting my account. Not only do I have to check my account there to disable this new thing, I now have to make sure Jess has hers disabled.
- Zandranna
Yeah I agree with you there Sandy and think its an absolutely shame that they treat people like this but for me FB keeps me in touch with family more then anything else. Tried to get them to go to Yuku but no luck there and I absolutely hate Hyves that they use in Holland.
- Spherical
Facebook is all about what the people wants that are backing facebook with money! If money the talks, then facebook bows down to them!
- SheSaidIHaveNoFriends
The main problem I have with FB having this stuff auto enabled is that most of the time its a security issue and they don't tell us they've put it there. If they left it disabled but announced its a new feature that people can then turn on. Or even enabled it with an announcement about how to turn it off I think it would be a lot different. But they have a tendacy to just sneak crap in with out telling anyone.
- BlueRose
Exactly Blue but they know that no matter what people will be using it so they don't care.
- Spherical
Oh I had that problem earlier. I went to click a link of Sabs and it told me I couldn't view it. Although I have no idea where that link would have taken me so perhaps it was somewhere I am not linked to her. Or of course it could be another bug.
- Zandranna
Yep, that's who it was for me too. Only it wasn't Sabs. It was the name BlueRose
- SheSaidIHaveNoFriends
Yup, it was in the name of Bluerose for me too. Hey, she could have a secret place that we all don't know about, rofl.
- Zandranna
Well I don't have anything like that, so what did you try to click?
- BlueRose
I wish I could remember Sabs. I do remember thinking at the time. "Oh she must be playing with her account".
- Zandranna
Well that is odd. I've not got anything locked down.
- BlueRose
Well, I never found whatever link it was again that blocked me so it must have been a glitch and when clicking on it again at a later time, it must have sent me where it was meant to have done.
- Zandranna
Where have you lost them from? Facebook? Twitter?? If so I think many, many people have simple got bored with those systems.
- Zandranna
Na, I'm talking about the real world buddies. I call and get stupid answering machine or they simply forget to call back, anyway we never get to talk anymore. I can't help but feel I'm alone now that I moved a few states away. They just simply have forgotten me or to busy to bother.
- SheSaidIHaveNoFriends
Surely there are people where you live now that you can befriend? Or maybe even make new friends at the gym :) Or go and join a handyman club or whatever and start making new friends that live nearby.
- Spherical
Oh for sure. Made a few through cycling and a few at the gym. But I'm talking about 10 and 30 year friends that are or were like family. Aw hell, they're more family than my real family, or at least were. I can't forget them even if they have forgotten me if is the case.
- SheSaidIHaveNoFriends
Sometimes this happens in life Chilly and people move on or away and the contacts thin out.
- Spherical
But for everyone I've ever known to do in due time??? Naw, I ain't buying it. I think we all know what the problem is. 'Can you say l-o-s-e-r' !!
- SheSaidIHaveNoFriends
Hmm ok well if this is what you think it is then what can you do to change that? Just throwing questions at ya to help ok matie :)
- Spherical
LOL Change???? Sweetie, there ain't no change for a failure! Everything has always failed from keeping friends to hobbies to projects. At least some friends lasted up to 30 years. But as I said, "in due time". And last project failed is bicycle. Made the wrong pick in type of bike and now stuck with a bike no good to me. (maybe make an stationary exercise bike of it.) lol
- SheSaidIHaveNoFriends
Quite honestly I'd just move on. Very, very, seldom does one keep the same friends all their life. I certainly never have. When I first moved down to Dorset friends kept in touch, then slowly they drifted away. It's natural. Everyone's world is very small, and if someone or something move out of it then we just don't follow up. I think you are making too much of it and taking it personally when what has happened is the most natural thing in the world. Happens to us all.
- Zandranna
What you mean natural???? I know many that is older than me that have friends they grow up with from childhood and still friends today.
- SheSaidIHaveNoFriends
Well, I don't personally know anyone that has. I suppose there must be some that have remained in the town they were born and bred in all their lives and the same with their friends. And even then they have lost friends that have moved away. An old friend might pop into someones life again for a short while at some point but more often than not new friends come and go. I've had some...

Are you serious???? And boring to keep same friends??????? WOW! I'm speechless! < --------- and that's hard to make me.
- SheSaidIHaveNoFriends
We grow and experience through the people we meet through life. If we didn't meet new people then we would come to a stand still. It would be too easy to stay in the comfort of what and who we know, but then we would stagnate. All that we experience through life is important and that includes the people that we meet and then lose along the path. That's why it's so important to accept...

Chilly can it be that you are holding onto the past to tight and that this is pushing the friends away? I have always made new friends wherever I went and that is part of the excitement I reckon.
- Spherical
No, I've left the past in the past. I only look to the future now and my future is getting the f*ck out of Georgia. I just want someone to talk to and joke and have fun. Wanda and I have the same blasted life and together 24/7 which means running out of something to talk about. Clicking on an app or some damn Like button gets old fast. Got 56 friends on facebook, 11 on twitter and about...

I haven't seen you around Yuku hardly on either boards or profiles at all for ages. I thought perhaps you were playing on facebook as you haven't posted for ages. I personally don't go to facebook unless it's to put a link to my blog on my Zandranna page there, and as for twitter that has totally died so can't be arsed with that either. Unless of course you mean that there is no one to talk to live?
- Zandranna
I've been to yuku every day until the last three days. Maybe twitter has died for you. But I see twits going on all the time. But you reply to someone, they don't reply back. At least not to me they don't.
- SheSaidIHaveNoFriends
Oh wow!! But I never did break down and go. lol But I never need anything in the condiment products. I don't use cream and sugar and other stuff. I order and they make what I want. Be you know, the condiments counter would come from the public putting their hands into the condiments. So that could be a problem finding a fix and could also happen at McDonalds, Wendy's, etc... just as well as it did at Starbucks.
- SheSaidIHaveNoFriends
Yup, happens in pubs as well here. The amount of germs they found in the peanuts and such at the bar was unbelievable where people don't wash their hands after visiting the loo.
- Zandranna
I worked shift work in my gym days so was able to time it so hardly anyone was there. No waiting while I did the circuit.
- Zandranna
I usually go after lunch anywhere between 1:00 and 2:00. There's very few there then. Not sure why I decided to go early today, but I know better now. lol
- SheSaidIHaveNoFriends
Never been at the gym myself lolol but then I used to lift a lot through work.
- Spherical
I did push harder three days this week. And I feel I did too. But all is working out as I noticed it in my belt yesterday. :-))
- SheSaidIHaveNoFriends
Oh that's brilliant if you are noticing it in your clothes already. I never weigh myself actually but always go by how my clothes feel. If they start feeling tight, I lay off the cakes, sweets and biscuits. Which reminds me I need to do that now, lol.
- Zandranna
Same here. Scales only gets me depressed if I think I've done good but the scale show I haven't.
- SheSaidIHaveNoFriends
You know it wasn't till a few years ago that I had scales. The same as you two I go by how my clothes fit or not lol.
- Spherical
Ummm, what is puzzling you now I wonder.
- Zandranna
My last comment here, I sent it as a reply on twitter also. Well, on twitter it shows NCchilly @NCchilly. Just odd looking like I'm talking to myself, lol

Diamond Rio song being banned from the Radio The song you are about to listen to is from a Las Vegas Diamond Rio concert.. They received an immediate resounding standing ovation, and continue to do so every time they perform it! Sadly, major radio stations wouldn't play it because it was considered 'politically incorrect'. Consequently, the song was never released to the public.. So America , see what you think.. If this offering speaks to your heart and you feel you want to share it with friends and loved ones, please do. Banning this song is the stupidest thing I've ever heard! The US has got to stand up and turn things around! Where the hell did freedom of speech go????
