DB Botts - Just DB Botts
A simple man trying to live right, act right and make a few people laugh along the way.
Some have said they can't choose to believe in God. I don't feel like I can choose NOT to believe in God. Everyone's experiences are different but based upon my experiences to this point and my beliefs and my own personal study I feel like, for me, not believing in God would be like not believing in air.

Whoever thought it was a good idea to run an unsecured Ethernet cable up the side of our building for the IP security camera needs to be shot. Windy nights like this make that thing flap around like crazy. I hear it every time it hits the building. Really bad gusts make it slam into the window next to my head. Just another reason move out ASAP. UGH
Time to attempt to sleep with all this racket. How hard would it have been to tack the thing down to the side of the building? I mean really. Sheesh. I'll be so glad when we're out of this place.

This was probably the most fun I've ever had at a photo shoot. It was all about her and she knew it. She did really well throughout. She didn't get fussy until the very end. That was a great day.

Ugh. Just finished submitting my FAFSA. All I can say is ugh. Every year I forget how much of a pain it was the last year.

I mistyped my PIN initially. When I re-entered what I was pretty sure was the PIN the site said it wasn't correct. I tried several more times with no luck. Then I jumped through all the hoops to find out what my PIN was (this was after I scoured all of my various email accounts trying to find a record of it) only to be told that my PIN was the number I had been entering for the past 10 minutes! Finally I decided to clear my browser cache and try again. Bingo. Come on Dept. of ED. Can't you develop a site that's smart enough to tell when, after entering the wrong PIN initially, a user enters the correct PIN and let them proceed without pulling their hair out and having to clear their dang browser cache? Come on man. Ugh. That's an hour of my life I can't have back. Time to start my day.

It was a little easier this time around. They let you pull in you tax info automatically from the IRS. I don't recall being able to do that in years past. That was nice.
