Daryl is glad to see his wife up and walking around a little bit. The look of relief her face when she stood up and realized her hip wasn't hurting any more was priceless.

Is it too much to ask for an anniversary that doesn't involve some sort of medical issue? 1 year ago today I was sick from some bad sushi in Mexico and today Kesha is laid up after surgery. I"m hoping this won't be a recurring theme.

A hospital room isn't exactly the most romantic place to spend your 2nd anniversary but we're making the most of it. Time flies when you're in love and having fun!

Daryl is going to sleep. Wifey is resting comfortably. Let's see if I can do the same. It's been a long day.

Daryl is watching Carlito's Way for the first time.

They've got Kesha up in her room now. She's sleeping at the moment. The physical therapist has already been up here for her 1st mini PT session. They've already got her standing up with a walker! My baby is tough. That and she's on some really good drugs... lots of them. I'm kind of jealous actually. :-).

Kesha is out of surgery. Her doctor said everything went well and there were no complications! *Big Sigh of Relief*.

The waiting room is starting to fill up. I need to stake my claim on a seat near a power outlet. I've only got 49 minutes left. The horror!

Is it sad that I've worked at a hospital for 7 months and didn't know what PACU stood for? I've fixed computers in our PACU unit before but never thought to ask. This hospital's signage is more helpful than ours. The sign in the waiting room here says PACU: Post Anesthesia Care Unit. Your learn something new every day.

Hospital waiting rooms are much more bearable with the addition of wireless access. FF is helping me keep my mind of my wife's surgery. It's also keeping me from "having" to work on my paper for school. :-)

Kesha just went into surgery. Now I get to try to occupy my brain for 2 hours. Let's see if I can concentrate enough to do some school work.

Daryl is going to bed with a prayer in his head and on his heart. I pray that my wife Kesha has a safe and successful surgery later today and a speedy recovery. I love you Sweetie.
