Greatest hits: Mitt Romney’s top 7 ‘out of touch’ moments | The Daily Caller
Romney might be the front runner for the Republican nomination, but playing the populist card sure isn’t his bag. And so, with no further ado, I present Mitt Romney’s top seven “Gordon Gekko” moments: 1. “I’m not concerned about the very poor…” 2. “I like being able to fire people…” 3. “Ann drives a couple of Cadillacs...” 4. “I have some great friends who are NASCAR team owners“ 5. “I’m also unemployed” 6. “I know what it’s like to worry whether you’re going to get fired” 7. “10,000 bet?” - DB, Lil LB's Dad from Bookmarklet
I was talking to my husband about this today. I grew up with and was friends with people who came from money and even when they didn't "get it", they weren't so tone deaf as almost brag about it, especially to people who didn't come from money. If this is how Mittens acts in such a national forum, I terrified to know how 1) he is in private and 2) his kids behave. - Anika
My experience "old money" is not flashy and is usually careful not to look rich. They don't drive a caddie, Bimmer, or a lexus, a nice Buick would suffice.... Mittens acts like some dot com ipo lottery winner, it is the narcism and hubris of Bain and Wall Street #princeof1% - WarLord
