Presumably a human reader can tell the gamers from the truly knowledgeable, but what of one who FAKES authority? Granted this can and does happen IRL also.

I think you're making an incorrect assumption in that people will be able to find someone authoritative on a topic by searching Twitter. 140 simply isn't enough. Twitter's the wrong medium for searching for experts.

How does Twitority identify an authority? That must be a guarded secret algorithm? Trextor, I think FriendFeed is better suited for searching for experts, are there any FriendFeed search tools? I've seen many Twitter tools.
