Good observation from Andy C - if someone has multiple "blog" (true blogs, or just rss feeds), FriendFeed doesn't offer the capability to selectively hide some but not all of them. If someone has multiple "blogs," the blogs probably have different topics and are for different audiences.
Example: my three "blogs" (as of today) are a general interest blog, a blog specific to Ontario California, and a list of every song I play on last.fm. Chances are that no one is interested in all three of these feeds. - Ontario Emperor
Another example: Steven Hodson lists six blogs, ranging from FriendFeed Watch to SillyAssQuotes. I suspect that the two blogs that I named are for widely divergent audiences (unless the FriendFeed staff is prone to say silly things.). :) - Ontario Emperor

Don't feel guilty. This actually highlights an issue that is fairly universal, which is why I'm naming other examples (no offense to Steven). I think that 'blog" is the only example of a FriendFeed service where you can have more than one of the service; therefore, some more granular hiding capabilities are needed. - Ontario Emperor
I alerted Bret Taylor to this conversation. http://friendfeed.com/e... - Ontario Emperor
Nothing new under the sun. Louis Gray already suggested this (using Steven Hodson as an example). http://friendfeed.com/e... - Ontario Emperor
Is this still the case? If so that is very bad. I have different feeds for different languages as well as diff. twitter accounts and so far thought that if I would hide one blog it would always just be this specific feed - otherwise it does not make sense. - Nicole Simon
