"Nice overview. I've been playing with groups (since they were rooms!) and have learned a few things I'd like to mention. I have a brand monitor room as well but there's a better search criteria for twitter I use: -from:orangejack orangejack. That search looks for all mentions of my brand but leaves out my personal tweets from orangejack. The 'blog this later' room is an interesting idea. Do you delete the item once you've acted on it? For stuff like that I need the ability to check it off and not lose it. One room I created last year that has been helpful is the Hurricane Room: http://friendfeed.com/hurrica... It pulls in data from various hurricane sources including NOAA and even the Red Cross from their response teams. It's been quite helpful especially as storms approach."

"I've been longing for months for something similar, but not exactly like the way you see it. I, too, use Google Calendar. I keep multiple calendars in there as if each item is tagged (events, holidays, personal, wife, etc are all shared, individual calendars). I know how to get the RSS feed for a calendar but it updates when something is added to the calendar, not when the event happens. In other words, I want a notification system available for each event via RSS. They already have pop-up reminders and email, etc. I want RSS so I can channel particular events or calendars into my lifestream when the event happens (or hours before), not when I enter it into the calendar months in advance."

I'm guessing Google Maps will come out with a GPS add-on that'll make use of this too. Slick, albeit kinda large for driving?

I thought it was pretty slick. Not the highest quality if you shared your full screen, but if you share a small portion (re-sizable even!) it works great. Used new skype to screenshare yesterday.
