At least you had a Hayes 300 Baud Smartmodem. We had to make do with a half-duplex No-name British 1200/75 baud one, and we didn't have anyone to sort out the wires for us the first very frustrating weekend!

Borderlands. Preordered it as soon as I got back from PAX. Just learned about Gyromancer, a new puzzle RPG game coming for Xbox Live Arcade from Popcap and Square Enix. Also waiting for Left 4 Dead 2 and Battlefield: Bad Company 2. Oh and Forza 3 as well, I suppose. Oh and Bioshock 2. But mostly Borderlands.

Mass Effect 2, Dragon Age, Assassin's Creed 2, Lucidity (downloadable title from Lucasarts - check out the trailers if you haven't seen it; it has a unique art style), Brutal Legend, Alpha Protocol, DJ Hero, Bayonetta, Dead Rising 2, ... I should qualify that I probably won't end up buying all of these, but they're the ones I want to check out.

I have no idea if it's under development or not, but I would absolutely love to see a new installment in the Legacy of Kain series come out on the Wii. Soul Reaver was one of my favorite games on the Dreamcast, and I'd love to be able to play a similar game using the Wii controller.

Most of the shooters I've looked at today all look samey, so nice to see something different with some very interesting ideas (like having your friends drop in and out of your mission game).
