=) Joe, one of the boys is already slated to be her husband. He told me last year that he was marrying her. They really do adore each other and look out for one another. It's cute. The other night, he made sure she got a pan dulce and she kept telling him that he should wear a jacket.

I actually hide all but 5 icons for the most used programs(on bottom row/ dock) and use Searchlight to launch any of the rest... Page left for Searchlight, and back right to Home Screen. Simple and a lot less clutter to hide/ cover up custom backgrounds.

Yes, Patrick... I've been missing out, I s/h Jailbroken a long time ago... With the so so cell service I currently get... an unlock and switch to TMobile could be next? Funny when you think about it... the whole Categories/ folders idea is not new? Pocket PC's and Windows Mobiles have used that type of sorting system for years... Having had both, this system makes more sense to me vs the multiple "Home" pages...

@ Ron - yup, that is one of the areas where Windows Mobile got some things right - although mostly via clever 3rd party UI enhancers rather than any default WinMo scheme. I think the home pages idea works up to about 5 home screens. Beyond that, it becomes pretty tiresome and ineffective. I usually run with 9-11 screens worth of apps - and for that level things like PogoPlank are a much better option IMO.

When looking for a printer for home use, I highly suggest one that will handle extremely heavy bond paper. Our printer (Epson Photo R300) only goes up to 24 pound and this definitely does not cut the mustard.

My next door neighbor (#1) came over yesterday. She's having disagreements with my other next door neighbor (#2). Neighbor #2 says that neighbor #1 has problems with everyone in the neighborhood and is confrontational and abusive. Would I sign her petition stating whether I have had problems with her (neighbor #1).

Until recently, #1 had some relatives living at her house. There were a lot of people coming and going at all hours of the day and night. Now you may remember my previous posts. Once, we had 5 squad cars show up because someone was waving a firearm. A US Marshal came to my house looking for 3 teens that had been reported living next door. 2 squad cars showed up to arrest the 14 and 15 yo for murder in a drive-by shooting of a 16 yo girl.

I would like to stay out of it, but I live here. I have no doubt that my policeman neighbor is giving her lots of extra attention. I don't know if that amounts to harassment. I don't want gang members living next door to me. This isn't like online, I can't just block and ignore. What do other people think?

I would stay out of it. But I would probably anonymously tell the policeman that she came by. It's strange that she came by with a petition and wanted you to state right then and there whether you have a problem with her or not. It's backing you into a corner, which is not a neighborly thing to do.

I think I'd do what Jason suggested. I certainly wouldn't sign any petition. That would put you (and anyone else who signs as well) squarely in the middle of something you really don't need to be involved in. If she really feels that she is being harassed, she needs to take that up with the police department. From what you've described of the situation, it doesn't sound good. Be careful.

yes, the crime and violence are issues that affect you and melinda which i think you're helpless to do anything about except to wait - waiting is never easy but i have a feeling that in this case your no good neighbor will find themselves forced to move as i'm quite certain has happened many times, most likely because someone was after them -
