@TimWeber At a restaurant last night, asked what craft brews they had-Coors, Killians and Blue Moon. I gave up and had wine instead!
Just saw Avatar 3D, must say, it was pretty damn good.
Just had my first Belgian beer, Trappist Rochefort 10. Wow.
Looking at some of my previous liqueurs (oldest 1.5 yrs), I need a better filtering method. Coffee filter lets too much through.
STILL bottling cranberry liqueur! The coffee filters clog up easily (I think with the sugary portion of the liqueur). Drip, Drip, Drip.
Cranberry liqueur getting bottled now. Looks beautiful and tastes nice and tart-sweet. Kind of astringent like the berries actually are.

Eating at olive garden westminster, service was OVER THE TOP! Thank you.
Been working nonstop on the house. Haven't done anything with the wine lately. I have a couple that need to be checked and racked. Later.
@GearKnight If you think of it, I'd like to know how the coffee wine turns out. Good luck with it.
Should be working on the rental unit instead. Already had tickets though.
In the theater now to see departures, a japanese film.
Opened a bottle of the Cranberry wine from 2 months ago. Still too young, won't try again for 4 months.
Spent the last couple of nights filtering my vanilla liqueur, drip-by-drip. Hopefully finish tonight.
@GearKnight Coffee wine? What's that like? How'd you make it?
My heartfelt thanks to those veterans who have given the ultimate sacrifice. I hope my actions honor your memory.
Learned about all-grain brewing yesterday at Stomp Them Grapes. Informative class. Looks like I need more equipment!
Just finished watching Heartbreak Ridge. Never get tired of that movie!
Awesome 2 min animated video http://garr.posterous.com/a-fanta... . Very funny, worth a look. Via @presentationzen
@hanerino Working on a batch of Limoncello myself. Would you consider trading recipes?
Worked on Strawberry wine, Mead, Limoncello and Umeshu.Perfect weather, relaxing day, read and work on hobbies; almost felt like a vacation!
Started a mead today with Pacific NW Raspberry Honey. Plan on trying a blend of that and the Strawberry wine I started the other night.
@jackkellerwine "Rendezvous"-Insane!
Via @craigcamp http://www.winecampblog.com/journal... ,finding that true with the wines I'm making (not the same caliber I'm sure). Incredible transformations!
Ok, Just started the Strawberry wine I was talking about last night. 1.092 I.G., 3.2 pH and 2% acidity (I think. still learning test kit)
Does anybody know any really good books/websites on blending wine? I'm thinking about dabbling in it with some of my upcoming wines.
Gearing up now to FINALLY bottle that Riesling! Also going to start a gallon of Strawberry wine (they were on sale).
Tried explaining Twitter to my 17-year-old daughter. Didn't do so good.
