When a new account is created, a random, temporary password is emailed to the user, after sending the email, the password is hashed and stored in a DB. So, getting an email with a password doesn't mean the password isn't hashed. If you request a new password and they send you your old password weeks later, then you've got hash troubles... unless of course you're encrypting the data..." - Nick Benson
