On 2 May 2011 the United States announced that it had killed Osama bin Laden, the founder of the alleged CIA-backed militant Islamist organization al-Qaeda, and buried his body at sea. Within hours of this announcement reports were flowing from nearly every single Russian military and intelligence agency stating that everything the American people had been told about bin Laden’s “assassination” was false, most specifically that his body was NOT buried at sea but was, instead, flown to the United States by the CIA.
