David: There are more WinMo handsets in the world, but: http://androidandme.com/2009... -- at any rate, there is a WinMo version of Pandora, though not every WinMo-running handset is supported, so far as I know. Problem with AT&T? Not sure what you are talking about there as AT&T doesn't have an exclusive on WinMo handsets. Also, WinMo sucks. :-P

So, it's not going to be, er, you know, like a year or two before it comes out? Insomuch as I understand development for that platform (which isn't much), I really don't get why it isn't available already -- assuming y'all are actually serious about it.

Hehe (at least I hope you're joking). Though we might not so soon get over the insult-to-injury that was the skipping of Android for WebOS. But Pandora's inevitable, painful realization that they neglected both common sense and basic math in that decision, will surely be punishment enough. ;-)

Cool suggestion. For now, you can always shelve songs you know for a month, which leaves more room in the playlist for songs you don't know. :) Lucia

I can't seem to manage this using my iPhone. It plays for about 30 seconds and then just stops. Makes me very sad.

Is it wrong that I click on ads in Pandora once in a while, even though I have no interest in the ad?

yes. that behaviour is easily tracked as "pitty click" - and if the advertiser pays per click and does good tracking they will get grumpy about it. but you could write pandora that you as the customer do pay attention and look for good advertisement, will help them sell advertisement. ;)

I really wish Pandora was more tunable. Like that I could set it for a certain BPM range and require that songs have a strong bass groove and stuff...the lack of control get's a little annoying at times as it strays from your likes a bit much.
I'm with ya, Alex. What helps in the cases you mention is to start with a few songs that exemplify what you're looking for...and then use thumbs downs to weed out the songs that don't match your criteria. I find this works pretty well for bpm in particular. :) Lucia
