I am terrible at coming up with comforting words. What do you say (online) to friends who have a new baby in the NICU?
*hugs* That's tough. "My thoughts are with you. If there are any errands I can take care of, please let me know. Much love, Laura" - Stephen Mack #TeamMomo from iPhone
I second Stephen. Helping them out so they can be with their babby would be awesome. (If you can, that is.) - Kelli H. from Android
They are far from me. We just prayed for them when we said grace (grace is the only religious thing my family does). I will tell them. The poor little guy aspirated meconium AND had some seizures. They think his lungs are OK but not sure about his brain. When I think of what Paul and April went through and how healthy Camilla is now, I have hope. - Laura Norvig from iPhone
Emily spent four weeks in NICU. It was nice just to know people were thinking of and praying for us all :o) - Headless Gnad Kicker
Baby doing a little better today ... almost breathing on his own. They are keeping his head very cold and will slowly start warming it up tomorrow and Friday and do MRIs and EEGs ... all of my fingers and toes are crossed. Send baby Xander your love, FFriends! He is in Denver, CO. - Laura Norvig
My son was in NICU for 3 weeks and just hearing from people meant a lot. It didn't matter what they said, other than they were thinking about us or wished us well. - Trish R
Just saw Melly said the same thing before me. :-) - Trish R
Laura, I have read quite a few amazing stories about that cold-head thing! Praying Xander will be another xxx - Headless Gnad Kicker
Xander had more seizures last night. Why is life so hard? - Laura Norvig
Babies are tough. Thinking positive baby Xander has a better day today. - Trish R
He's getting his MRI today. - Laura Norvig
