I really liked that he mentioned his wife gave birth naturally, with a midwife, in a hospital. I think so many women don't realize this is an option. They can have the security of the hospital, with the birth they want.

Georgia, in some states, midwives are legally not allowed in hospitals.

Yeah, I heard that, very disappointing. I also heard that many hospitals only allow their approved midwives.

On Fort Hood, you will only see a midwife, unless you are considered high risk. The army seems surprisingly progressive on these things.
