I think it's the lack of new and exciting things Apple could produce or have in its back pocket, or rather the lack of the imagination of people who follow the keynotes. A few years back, there was a possible iPhone, video iPod, iTablet, switch off of PowerPC... now, out of that list, the only one left is the tablet. So what fills the void? OH GOD NEW VERSION OF X PRODUCT YES. Not very compelling. - Mark Trapp

While I was underwhelmed by MacWorld, I have high hopes for WWDC after Apple's roadmap event a few months ago. Quite frankly I think I'm more excited for the 2.0 software than the 3G iPhone itself - can't wait to see what developers come up with for it. I just think that while it is overhyped (like all things Apple), this really could down as one of those times where sometime transformative was unveiled. - MG Siegler

I'm also looking forward to the iPhone 2.0 firmware update more than the new iPhone. Once the firmware is released, we'll finally be able to see the full power of this mobile version of OS X. RIM and MS will once again be chasing Jobs and company. - James from fftogo
