officially turning off the FriendFeed notifier once and for all. what's the point when most content (tweets) come in at least 30 mins late?

Paul responded on Saturday about this; Twitter turned on birddog (their mythical API that was leaked a few months back), and turned off the firehose. FriendFeed had to switch to Birddog, and now they're just waiting for an OK from legal that should come this week: http://friendfeed.com/stevegi...
