Example: my new Droid comes bundled with a 3ft USB to microUSB cable. 3ft is way too short to reach behind my desk for charging or connecting to my computer's USB port. Upgrading to 6ft would have cost 15 cents, maybe less (the difference in retail price is 18 cents on Monoprice).

Yay! My astigmatism is gone. Went to my annual eye exam. For the 1st in 22 years, I have no astigmatism - just regular near-sightedness.

Ronin: For the past 23 years, my right eye has been floating between -3.25 & -4.75, and my left eye between -2.75 and -3.75. The astigmatism ranges from -0.25 to -1.0 (Don't remember if it ever went over -1.0). Wish I were better organized. I don't know how much the astigmatism rotated over the years. Astigmatism started when I had a bad bout of manic depression in 1986.

Also, it's the first phone I had that does email right; it can easily handle multiple email accounts (two Gmail accounts, both using the Android Gmail client; one IMAP account, and one Exchange account). It seamlessly merges the contacts from the different accounts (and also my Facebook friends) and allows me to configure different notifications for the different accounts.

The wall charger is a generic USB charger, with a USB charging port, which is nice: you can use it to charge any USB-chargeable accessories. The phone comes with a standard USB-to-microUSB cable that can be used for either charging or data transfer.
