Wherever you can use the word "regardless" you can use the word "irregardless" - Alex Scoble from IM
As in "Irregardless of what you may think, "irregardless" is a perfectly acceptable word belonging to the English language. - Alex Scoble from IM
I'ma keep capping on it. and YOU CAN'T STOP ME. neener neener. also, PLASMA TV'S RULE. ok just kidding on that last one. - Sarah is Novembery

My current English pet-peeve: It's AROUND the world and ACROSS the country. It's never ACROSS the world. Ever. Haven't you heard? The Earth is a globe, not a flat surface. - Jason Huebel
It's in my dictionary http://dictionary.reference.com/browse... so irregardless of your opinions of the word and its usage, it will stay as a totally cromulent word in the vernacular and all who pooh pooh it shall be punished severely by being forbidden from saying the word regardless. - Alex Scoble from IM

Pet peeve: great consumer products that skimp on inexpensive but important details.
Example: my new Droid comes bundled with a 3ft USB to microUSB cable. 3ft is way too short to reach behind my desk for charging or connecting to my computer's USB port. Upgrading to 6ft would have cost 15 cents, maybe less (the difference in retail price is 18 cents on Monoprice). - Tudor Bosman
This is one thing that Apple does right: they understand the out-of-the-box experience. - Tudor Bosman
To be honest, the cable I got with my iPhone was 3ft, which is, like you said, too short. I'm constantly ripping out the iPhone from the connector when I try to view it when it's connected to the computer or the wall charger. - Mark Trapp

Ronin: For the past 23 years, my right eye has been floating between -3.25 & -4.75, and my left eye between -2.75 and -3.75. The astigmatism ranges from -0.25 to -1.0 (Don't remember if it ever went over -1.0). Wish I were better organized. I don't know how much the astigmatism rotated over the years. Astigmatism started when I had a bad bout of manic depression in 1986. - Mitchell Tsai

'Google trying not to cross 'the creepy line' when it comes to the data it gathers.' | Except they've sprinted wayyy past that line by now to disturbingly ominous
"Google is trying not to be creepy. That's according to CEO Eric Schmidt, who told Fox Business Thursday that "we're trying not to cross what we call the creepy line" when it comes to the data it gathers. As an example, Schmidt said Google only publishes satellite data that is a month old, indicating that Google would consider it creepy to publish real-time satellite data. Google is quite used to facing charges that it has become a little too Big Brotherish in its conquest of the Internet search market. In response, it emphasizes that Google users have control over the data the company collects on them, most recently introducing Google Dashboard as a way of letting users see all the personal data the company has assembled in a single Web page. That will likely never be enough to satisfy the hardcore privacy advocates of the world, but the general public--and the government--are also starting to get a little uneasy about Google's unparalleled reach across the Internet. DROOOoooooID.
how is it? i totally want one. - Jenna Bilotta
Great! Significantly faster than the G1. Better screen. The keyboard will take a bit of getting used to. The default notification sound is a robotic voice saying "DROOOoooooID", thankfully easily changed. - Tudor Bosman
What, why would you change that ? :D - Mo Kargas
*spock eyebrow* LOL - Derrick
The screen is absolutely beautiful. YouTube videos over wifi (bandwidth detection?) are sharp and clear. - Bill Strathearn
Also, it's the first phone I had that does email right; it can easily handle multiple email accounts (two Gmail accounts, both using the Android Gmail client; one IMAP account, and one Exchange account). It seamlessly merges the contacts from the different accounts (and also my Facebook friends) and allows me to configure different notifications for the different accounts. - Tudor Bosman from Android
What about the keyboard - heard it was kinda janky. Though my number one concern is Twitter (need to demo Twittdroid) then UX of 1. mail and 2. SMS - Mona Nomura
The keyboard isn't great. It's not bad, but I think the one on my old G1 was *slightly* better. It's no Blackberry, it's no Sidekick (the Sidekick had the best keyboard, but it was also huge and clunky). There are two different email clients -- one for Gmail (which is awesome, and supports all Gmail features in a very Gmail-y way), and one for other accounts (IMAP/POP, Exchange) which I... more... - Tudor Bosman

Contact integration is really great. You get an address book (which is automatically synced with your Gmail, Facebook, Exchange accounts), and, once you select a contact, you get a list of options (based on where the contact was imported from) -- call / SMS the phone numbers on the account, send an email, chat with them in Google Talk (it shows the Google Talk status right there in the... more... - Tudor Bosman
The wall charger is a generic USB charger, with a USB charging port, which is nice: you can use it to charge any USB-chargeable accessories. The phone comes with a standard USB-to-microUSB cable that can be used for either charging or data transfer. This cable is only 3ft long, which is a pain; come on, Motorola, bundling a 6ft cable would have cost you, what, 15 cents more? - Tudor Bosman
