I think we have a deal...but if you win the toss, can I visit? :)
- Emma
I thought you were going to do the toss right now and claim victory like you did last time. ;)) If I do win, though, of course you can visit... I'll have some wine and tiramisu ready ;) lol

The examples in this book about how much people get paid each year are depressing. I would never take a ft job at that rate. Ever!
Chances are it's a national average. The same job duties and title will likely pay 2-3 times more in CA than it would in an SC city. Then again, our cost of living is much *much* lower.

It depends are where you live, here in Kentucky $30,000 is good enough for a single person to live comfortably. But in Cali thats pretty much what someone makes working at McDonalds.

It's an Economics Textbook... so far the highest anyone has ever made in an example is $37k-$40k. After taxes I don't see how it's possible to live in Southern California. I mean, it is possible but it would be extremely stressful not to have some money to put away at the end of the month.

Yeah, sounds like the textbook is geared toward people living in areas that are more rural.
- Rochelle
That's what the majority of Americans make, I believe....
- Patricia
@Patricia ... Then I hope the majority is also in rural areas. I think they are. hmmm

Ducks/Geese I don't really know what they are but they crossed the road in the crosswalk. They even crossed at the right time. They're traveling to the pond across the street, there's also one behind them. They're so spoiled. (pictures by a friend)
