We were all just skankin to Bosstones. All of us. It happened.
My beer isn't safe there.
Hey @defunkt thanks for saving me some holiday frustration with http://ozmm.org/posts...
@BlitzTiger My sister lives in Philly - I think she has issues with their service too. What did they do to you this time?
@BlitzTiger You in Philly?
To the person who stole my packages from UPS: thanks for being a dick.
Today, I did the best I could.
THANKS UPS FOR RUINING CHRISTMAS!!!!
@savant yeah my body is not happy about the double. Sucks cause I still have an hour of driving ahead of me.
Stopping for a double whopper. They have a triple but I'm not enough of a man for that.
Of course, everything would go to shit hours before I'm supposed to leave for the holidays.
New found appreciation for public transportation. Traffic blows.
@elliottcable @Sutto Looks to be a more customizable free version of SizeUp? Might be a good start to roll your own solution?
@elliottcable Yeah I've been looking for something like that for a while myself. SizeUp kinda scratches the itch, but not completely.
@elliottcable There's an app called SizeUp you might want to try: http://www.irradiatedsoftware.com/sizeup...
Speaking to the codez but the codez ain't speaking to me.
@bryanwoods You didn't get the newsletter about the secret meeting? Damn. Next year dude. Next year.
I just got an email from @amazon apologizing for UPS' delays in delivering my package. Surely automated, but still makes me feel good.
@savant That's kinda how it would work with github, but then when it comes time to gem install _____ what do you type in?
@savant I don't disagree. How would it work? I think the only problem with canonicity is when the maintainer stops maintaining.
Photo: OS X’s Application Support folder isn’t good enough for Adobe. It needs to make its own. http://patricktulskie.tumblr.com/post...
@savant That's a problem the community as a whole has been struggling to come to terms with. Ideas? Self-name-spacing?
@nakajima I'm big on seeing the code before I touch it as well. Github has the added bonus of an in your face readme as well.
@savant When you push a gem to GC, you can edit a ton of links for the gem: http://patricktulskie.tumblr.com/post... GH integration would be pretty dope.
Photo: Gemcutter link fields we need to be better at filling in… http://patricktulskie.tumblr.com/post...
@qrush Sometimes when I look at a gem, the homepage points someplace weird. Perhaps we need to be better about filling in the code URL.
@savant I do like that idea, but I think the idea is for gemcutter to be _that_ place. You've given me something to think about for sure.
Riddle me this: Is it more useful to post the gemcutter URL or the github URL when I talk about a gem?
I think I found a good contact importing gem: http://github.com/pelle... ...just need to setup oauth and all that fun stuff.
