Paul, you might want to add a check for pubDate (if present) and if it's too old, assume it's a false positive. - Dave Winer

Dave, the problem is that for favorites the pubDate is useless, since I may have just favorited an old video. We do use that date for videos they share though, and correctly place them on the timeline. - Paul Buchheit
