I wrote a toy Twitter clone (based on tags instead of people): http://frittr.appjet.net/ Updates tagged "public" are instantly imported to this room: http://friendfeed.com/rooms... thanks to SUP.

SUP taking over the internet? :P - Bwana
Ok, head is hurting from too many ideas - Bwana
there's no 'undo'? - Alex Gawley
So Paul, are you just supplying a SUP supported feed to FriendFeed and the magic just happens? I apologize I haven't read much into utilizing SUP on FriendFeed - Bwana
Bwana, that's exactly right. Frittr includes the necessary SUP header and the FriendFeed feed fetcher automatically picks up the SUP "pings". - Paul Buchheit
to demonstrate how easy SUP is? - Robin Barooah
This is great, now anyone can make an anonymous friendfeed room. - Jason Wehmhoener
Appjet, eh? How was using it? - ⓞnor
It's pretty cool. Unfortunately I think I might have just killed with frittr -- requests seem to be timing out. - Paul Buchheit
Seems to be back. How's the experience compare to GAE? - ⓞnor
Appjet looks interesting. Just found a Seeqpod search tool. http://appjet.com/directo... - jh
I've never used GAE ⓞnor. The theory with AppJet, at least initially, was to make it super-quick to create tiny "one page" apps that wouldn't otherwise write because there's too much overhead to creating a new app, getting a web host, configuring a db, etc. - Paul Buchheit
WOW, I could get used to this. - tehKenny
Paul do you have some glimpses of Friendfeed code online? Just out of curiosity. - Philipp Lenssen
@Philipp Lenssen - I feel that http://code.google.com/p... is the closest you'll get to seeing any source code with a FriendFeed copyright on it. - Tyson Key
I forgot to add that that code is supposedly being used live on the site, as part of the feed validator. - Tyson Key
that is freakin' awesome - Laura Norvig
