i hope this is a picture of the actual command line that you used to submit this post, leading to much back and forth writing of command line, photo editing, and then pressing return back in the terminal :)

Sips seems to be the only image scaling program installed by default on the macs (and imagemagick is kind of hard to find, when last I tried).

Friendfeed is blocked in my company. I think the web filter out there is screwing up. What to do? Can I do something?

If FriendFeed is blocked in your company, get back to work as they obviously don't want you checking it while on the clock or off.
