I wonder why they chose a name that most people will not have the slightest idea how to pronounce. In any case, any search engine that intends to knock Google from the throne will have to be radically better than Google -- Google's momentum and intertia are huge. My guess is that if ever Cuill launches publicly as a consumer search engine they are going to change their name... I tried it out for two searches. It seems neat, but my brain does not immediately understand how to interpret the results, especially if I wanted to know more than the splash page. Neat though. - Clare Dibble

Interesting, I tried searching for "latex two column layout", which on Google, pulls up one of my blog posts as the fourth hit. On cuill, it didn't find anything. I also tried searching for "Robert Felty", and it did not pull up my website, but rather comments I have left in Friendfeed, some news groups, some colleagues' websites, and alumni pages from where I went to school. So far, I like Google's results better. - Robert Felty
