Not a huge selection of distros, but an easy way for Windows users to try a live CD (well, USB thumb drive) running Ubuntu, Fedora and more.

Ninite runs on Windows XP/Vista/7 and works in the background 100% hands-free. We install apps with default settings and say "no" to browser toolbars and other junk.

VirtualBox is a powerful x86 virtualization product for enterprise as well as home use. Not only is VirtualBox an extremely feature rich, high performance product for enterprise customers, it is also the only professional solution that is freely available as Open Source Software under the terms of the GNU General Public License (GPL). See "About VirtualBox" for an introduction.

Basically another self-promo post for yourselves; where is your photography site(s)? Do you have a favourite/proudest pic? Again, the slide on my site here: http://squashyfrog.com/ shows (IMHO) my best photography. For the whole lot I'm here: http://www.flickr.com/photos... (not been updated for ages!). This is my proudest moment in photography http://www.flickr.com/photos... - was posted in a newspaper!

My greatest contribution to the world of photography was when I gave birth to my daughter. Little did I know what a shutterbug she would turn out to be when I named her something that gave her the initials of SLR. Her gallery: http://sanityerror.deviantart.com

http://flickr.com/photos... Mind you, it's all mixed together. The good and the bad. Some are cellphone pics, as they end up there from Brightkite. Occasionally I remember, and post them to Facebook too, but not the good stuff, as Farcebook, ruins them with resizing.

I can see I'm going to be busy over the weekend? With this and the blogs I'll be a very busy chap. Thanks all, keep 'em coming please. :-)

Yeah, mine was a great poser too. Must dig out some pics. Someone posted this yesterday on twitter "Is it just me, or do golden retrievers seem to give off some strangely calming smell? As if to say, "Hey, I'm happy, you should be too."

I'm not very discriminating about what I post to Flickr. But you've inspired me to create a new set of my own favorites. And here it is: http://www.flickr.com/photos...

Our (current) best photoraphy is on our travel blog: http://antarctic.fury.com . I wrote scripts to draw the pictures and captions down from our Flickr accounts, but the presentation is better on the blog.
