Dear China, I know just the way you can help Europe: just raise your workers minimum wage and rights to European levels.
RT @lunivore: These days I divide requirements into 3: stuff we've done before, stuff we can Google and stuff we know nothing about. The last one bites.
RT @mike_acton: Me: "Hear how Sony raised the prices on Whitney Houston's albums 30 minutes after she died?" Daughter: "Huh... People still buy albums?" #fb

Questioning the NoSQL developer productivity myth - http://paulogaspar7.blogspot.com/2012...
Yes, one size does not fit all but SQL DBs - or just No DBs at all (one big doc) - are much more productive for most jobs than NoSQL DBs.
During the Jurassic period when SQL DBs did not fit on PCs I did work a lot w/ NoSQL DBs. I sure got much more productive w/ the SQL ones.
Again, learning a NoSQL API might be easier than learning SQL, but SQL is a farking DSL and, as such, gives you a llot of power.
I hope this excellent article by @kellabyte helps dispelling the silliness about NoSQL being easier than SQL DBs: http://kellabyte.com/2012...
