Based in Los Angeles, ky is a middle school educator with acrobatic aspirations. ky began shooting when she found that words failed her much too often in her attempts to capture the moments of her life. that is how ky views her work – snippets of life, which hopefully evoke a mood. i think that description is spot on, and i am so happy to share that ky now has an online shop, shades of mediocrity via imagekind where you can purchase her lovely work. and to view more of ky’s beautiful photography, you can also visit her flickr photostream.

This is an awesome painting by Scott Davidson an art student from the United Kingdom. This piece was made for a competition at conceptart.org, about 20 hours of worth work in CS4.
I'll tell you more after work today but it's basically back to where I started and back to where I want to be. Really, really happy!! EDIT: This is the job: http://ff.im/8tFtu. EDIT 2: This is the company I'll be working for: http://ff.im/8tN7W
- Kol Tregaskes
That sounds like an awesome job. Congratulations!
- Mohsein Sani
congrats... I've had a new job forced upon me too. Carer of 2 little 7 week old kittens >.< no chance of me being able to work for a month!
- alphaxion
This will be the first time I've left a job. I've never resigned, never left a contract at mid-point, I've always stayed to the end or until I've been made redundant.

"The brand new Diana F+ lens adapters let photographers attach Diana F+ lenses to their Canon EOS or Nikon SLRs. According to the manufacturer, they bring “the world of Diana to your SLR cameras, yielding creative possibilities that were once limited to Diana F+ cameras”. The adapters themselves are priced €12, while adding a Diana F+ lens may cost you anywhere between €35 and €50."

Actually, as far as I can tell, Like in FB does do something: it's basically an empty comment, so you get notified of new comments that occur after you Like it.
- Glen Mistletoe
@Glen: it's true but what bothers me most is that unlike friendfeed, fb delivers a separate mail for every person that comments on that post. #lame

I would just like to go on record here and clearly state that, were I able to do what this lion is doing, I WOULD NOT! NO! NEVER! EVER! Thank you.

...why does it feel as if there is a bit of you in each of these, Ms. Emma? Truly beautiful selections...
- JA Castillo
Thanks Jason and I think you're absolutely right! I think maybe there is a small part of me in each and every one of these photos and one day...maybe, someone will take equally as stunning photos of me!!

If you don't see an "Edit" button, you have to log in and add it to your own maps first.
- John (a.k.a. dendroica)
To add your picture instead the default blue marker, you have to click on the blue marker at the top-right, click on "add an icon" link and type the url of your avatar
- Roberto
I'm on! (and sadly, the only one in Calgary - nice to see a few in Red Deer, though)
- Nathalie, Dreamer of FF
I added it, but the photo looks rather large. Just used the url of my profile pic. Very cool! thanks for setting this up! http://www.friendfeed.com/lizaspe... SF, CA

Roberto, so you click on Edit, add your marker, hit Save then Done?
- Kol Tregaskes
Just added myself to the map. The Google placemark positioning tool sucks, too.
- Tyson Key
The larger icons are smashing the smaller ones. Oh well.
- Bradley Farless
@Kol Yes, my name appear in the list, but the marker is missing in the map (tried with and without the avatar).

- Hamid Mat sain MD
Just added myself, although, I slightly moved my placemarker, just so people don't know where I live :)
- MλTT
From what I've noticed: When I'm at the first page of 2, I only see those markers on the map...from the people that are on the first page. Do you know what I mean? I'm added on the second page, so when I browse through the first page I won't see my marker on the map...only when I go to the next page. I don't know if this makes any sense hehe.

Added myself with little icon. I am so proud!
- Gordon Herd
Totally agree on that, Ahsan :) Will be interesting to see if floods of invitations are sent now or if it's just you and some other lucky few!

I guess my haiku didn't make the cut...Admit I don't have a backup but it went something like. 'All hail the Wave. Educators you will need. Help me help you.' :)
