‘Tis the season for free Wi-Fi. Earlier this morning we reported that Google has started offering free Wi-Fi to holiday travelers at US airports starting now and extending through January 15th. That’s in addition to their free in-flight Wi-Fi holiday promotion with Virgin America. Interestingly enough, however, today also happens to be the start of a major free Wi-Fi campaign from Yahoo, who has partnered with the Times Square Alliance to offer visitors and locals alike free Wi-Fi in Times Square, New York.
