Also Air show parking $10 so be prepared, Ribs Fest is right next to base, my suggestion is stop there on the way home.
Going to Homestead air show? go early, metal detectors for security-1hr in line, wear comfy shoes (walk 2mi to tarmac) but worth it!

Left the air show before the thunderbirds but watched them make their turn over our house when they would swing out then bk to base LOL
