The Niagara Falls are the most powerful waterfalls in North America. These voluminous waterfalls are situated on the Niagara River, which drains Lake Erie into Lake Ontario and forms the international border between the Canadian province of Ontario and the U.S. state of New York. The falls are 17 miles (27 km) north-northwest of Buffalo, New... - http://brexians.tumblr.com/post...
This is clearly not my cat. If this was my cat he's have one arm shoved down into the printer trying to tear up all the internal whirling bits with his bare claws.
- Soup in a TARDIS
Too Funny! Reminds me of the San Mateo Cat Shelter where one of the cats loves to sleep on top of the laster printer where the paper comes out...
- Greg Lato
1600+ to beat the FFundercats live chat thread. I think with this real time now on all threads we're going to see some truly epic comment numbers.
- Simon Wicks
Ivan, no the picture speaks for itself. ;-)
- Kol Tregaskes
Petr, I have no idea what you mean, but thank you. :-)
- Kol Tregaskes
@Kol .. :] that, partially, might have been the purpose.... I don't know it exactly either. :] .. was I reflecting on a cat under the fax, and that it is hard to fax that way ... /?:] ... "underfaxing at its worst" ..
- pb:
there ya have me ! :] .... see, to be honest with you, i saw this pic couple days ago, but i let it go, without posting it ..... what does that make me? :]
- pb:
even a flat cat... faxes just can't handle the hair. You'd have to shave the cat first, else the hair will burn and stick to the drum... a mess! (I am extrapolating from transparencies, mind, i don't have access to a cat to test)
- Iphigenie
Hehe, Joelle. This is now tied for the 'likes' top stop. One more then, hehe. :-)
- Kol Tregaskes
Hehe, Greg. Blimey! Erm, is that not far from 500 likes now? ;-)
- Kol Tregaskes
Bloody marvelous, Kol. Wish I could like it again... too cute (and help u to 500 likes).
- Roberto Bonini
I couldn't believe it when I logged on from the morning over posting it and saw it was at something 200 likes! You all have a strange fetish with cats and fax machines, hehe. ;-)
- Kol Tregaskes
Am I the only one who saw this and their first thought was - My goodness did someone break that cats neck? It still freaks me out a little
- SteVe C
Steve, it does look a little out of place, but cats are pretty bendy. ;-)
- Kol Tregaskes
They fax much better if you flatten them first. What?
- The original Kevin
So we can put this post to rest now. :-) 505 likes final count, wow! :-D Good night all!
- Kol Tregaskes
did 3 people really un-like this? now at 506. wtf (edit: uh, oh, yeah, me and 2 + 506 others makes 509. dammit, jim, i'm an artist, not a mathematician)
- ɐ ɯıʞ sıɹɥɔ
One of the best funny cat pictures I've seen! :-)
- John Collis
Kristian, it appears to be. Hehe, John.
- Kol Tregaskes
- Maryaminaa
It's really only social convention which regards it as inappropriate, same with Xeroxing it, like one does with their b__tocks. Wait are we still talking about cats cats here or...
- The Real sofarsoShawn
OMGosh 700+ likes now!! LOL. Thank you all 702 of you. :-)
- Kol Tregaskes
I'm 23 today. Old enough to start conquering the world!! :) UPDATE: It's 2010 and I'm 24 - surprised how much have changed in my life since then. Time to stop for a while and think over what has been accomplished during 23rd year of presence on Earth. All in all, everyone have a great Friday! :D
Sasha: As the future conquerer of the world, I want to wish you a happy birthday, and to pledge my eternal loyalty to your crown. May you rule for many happy and healthy generations!
- Morgan
Guys, thanks a lot for all the kind words :) you are a part of my fiesta! Would like to invite everyone to the party. coming to Belarus in the near future? ;)
- Sasha Kovaliov
from fftogo
nah. I've forgotten about it. I'll check it again in a few months. Kinda sloppy implementation mucking up a terrific idea!
- Vicarbott
"Still?" I never used it to begin with. I think I've logged in a total of three times, and two of those were so I could "nominate" people for invites.
- Curdy G
I want to. I guess when I have a project that needs some intense collaboration, it will make sense.
- Bryan R. Adams
Am I all alone still using it? Less than at first, but I still use it to build up some gadgets and all, and enjoy archiving stuff inside of it, but yeah, I think it takes motivation to get past the fact that's it's still a young product. I have the willingness but miss the time, I love how it's handled anyways and have a resolution in using 2010 to be even more active with it. I need...
- Zu from AOD
no - i tried, i really did. i wanted to like it. i wanted other people to like it with me. i failed. it is worthless without a core group of people i guess... but it's one more thread or inbox to check 30 times a day and it really didn't offer any differentiated connectivity. oh, and the UI sucks. but yeah, no. i tried. i really did. i'm done.
- Thom Kennon
Still using enthusiastically -- I am wondering -- those that say no -- why did you sign up in the first place? what did you expect from it? in what way did it not deliver to your expectations? why have you stopped using it?
- Brian Sullivan
I would like to use it more, but I just don't have enough contacts and it's still a little too geeky for most of my non-geek friends.
- Michael Daniels
YEP! Me and my friends use it fairly regularly to plan movie outings and we're starting to use it to plan logistics for our Burning Man trip this year. It's an improvement over a flat email list for sure!
- veo
yes and no, mostly no.... I still check it's progress out every now & then to see if any "significant" changes have been made. To be honest I usually don't hold my breath, but while I'm there I'll check to see if I have any new messages.
- Tim Tunnicliff
from email
no, it was too much trouble to find a new message in a wave.
- Grant Bierman
I love the tech, I've been doing some neat little demo apps with it as the backend for some neat stuff
- mjc
What I've enjoyed - synchronous audio (via adobe connect or skype) with collaborators in wave for a specific editing/planning sort of thing I would've previously used a google doc for. When more than one person is editing a blip at the same time, they all see editing cues (yellow for add, red for delete) it's pretty cool and much faster refresh/synchronous text display than gdocs. It's a workspace.
- hollyrae
Unfortunately not at all, as hard as I try I just can't find a use for it.
- Nicholas Kreidberg
I logged in to it once or twice, but I never really used it for anything.
- Anthony Sanchez
2 Days ago I asked the same question via Twitter, in Dutch, to my followers. It appeared that just 1 person had used it in a positive way. Once. The other people were saying that Wave was Google's biggest failure. Nobody ever talks about it.
- Ton Zijp
I do! Something is missing to make much more people use it. Wave is almost a collaborative social network, and each network needs more (relevant) users for people to use it much more.
- Nenad Nikolic
So sweet!!! And let me reiterate that the girl has a posse who has been known to cut a bitch or two in the past... but I'm sure that won't be necessary... Congrats on finding a seriously hawt and wonderful soul mate, Scott.
- Webgoddess Needs A Drink
Congrats to the both of you. Scott - She could be putting on a hell of an act, but by all appearances MC is a jewel. No disrespect intended, but you got the better end of the deal.
- MoTO Bott
Awwwwww, Barry. I assure you, I'm not that good an actress. I haven't posted much about this, but rest assured, Scott is pretty freaking fantastic. He is kind, caring, generous, intelligent, funny....I could go on and on and on. He is pretty wonderful. We're both lucky and blessed.
- Mary Carmen
*melts into mush* Awww this tops off my day as the best news I've heard. <3 So happy for you two. Hrm, I should sub to you, Scott. Any friend or more-than-friend to MC is a friend of mine.
- Carmen wBabby
Thank you all! Again, I love all y'all.
- Mary Carmen
How seriously cool is this post? So very cool for everyone involved! Congrats!
- Martha
Of course, the minute you break her heart, Imma have my cousins Guido and Bruiser "take you for a ride to the Chicago River".
- Steven Perez
LOL...and I thought the librarians were a rough bunch. ;-)
- Mary Carmen
You know what's really funny???? Scott's as big as the goons y'all would send after him. We do look funny together, him being a foot taller than me.....
- Mary Carmen
In the words of wise master Yoda, size matters not. :D
- Steven Perez
Very true, Bunneh. Good thing he is a great person.
- Mary Carmen
and a scrapper too ;), I will defend her honor till my dying breath :)
- Scott (Honey Boo-Boo!)
This is the surest sign I've seen that Apple is going to start selling books through the App Store. Today Amazon gives publishers a 35% cut. Doubling that to 70% brings it in line with the iPhone App Store.
- Kevin Fox
from Bookmarklet
Hmmm.. US only and the publisher will pay distribution costs. Don't they want to pay anything to Sprint anymore or are they planning to support other networks also?.
- Tapio Kulmala
The press release says US only 'at launch' but it also requires the publisher to agree that "the title is made available for sale in all geographies for which the author or publisher has rights" so presumably other geographies will follow, likely on the same schedule as the App store books go international.
