Time to stop this coding silliness and get productive with a meeting! (via @thillerson)
Just sold a pair of headphones to a guy via Craigslist. Why does the meeting always feel like a drug deal?
@kevinweil impressive. sounds like a really fun and challenging project!
@kevinweil very interesting. what kind of team do you have to build that? I'd like to build something similar for my current project
@kevinweil so far, my code is mostly cron calling Ruby scripts. I plan to build a framework as I get farther along. What is Twitter's aprch?
@kevinweil I'm using Ruby to process the Pig results and then store in a Rails app. I've done some MapReduce with Ruby too.
Twitter uses Hadoop / Pig. Interesting stuff @kevinweil. I've been using both on a project along with Ruby and love it. http://www.slideshare.net/kevinwe...

Just sold my 30" Cinema Display on eBay. Had it for 3 years. Will miss it. Going to replace it with two 24" LED Cinema Displays.
@davidscottmason Ha. I'll bring it on Monday.

Got access to Twitter Lists. Nice feature. Now just have to wait for the client apps like Tweetie to catch up.
Amazon is running circles around cloud providers like Rackspace. The new on-demand MySQL service has an optional instance with 68 GB RAM.
@slant it might. just depends on the data and the problem to be solved
