and I thought it would a guy who brought that up... :) - Zee at WeDoCreative
Has anyone scrolled down to the see the last "hole"? - Brian Sullivan
lol, yeah - i was gonna put it in here but the others were too impressive - Zee at WeDoCreative
can someone please explain the hole in the water? how/why does that occur? - Zee at WeDoCreative
There is no way I could swim/sail/boat over that blue hole. No way in Hell. - Timothy Griffin
They're created by water soaking through limestone fractures in the surface, Zee....a looooong time ago. http://www.blueholes.org has good information on them. - Candace Holly
and I thought this was about Golf... - Victor Ryden
Here's the Wiki on the second pic, the Great Blue Hole of Belize, The hole is circular in shape, over 1,000 feet across and 400 feet deep. It was formed as a limestone cave system during the last ice age when sea levels were much lower. As the ocean began to rise again the caves flooded, and the roof collapsed. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/G... - Christopher Harley
yo. if you buy regular meat at the supermaket or buy fast food, WATCH THIS - Ňicķ
if you watch it, and still have no problem with it, fine. but you should at least know what your food goes through. (thanks for posting this George) - Ňicķ
We have a friend hand-pick (naturally raised) cows and pigs for us from his farm every year for processing. It's a little spendy upfront with processing and all, but per lb. it's well, well below retail for the mid and better cuts, and soooo much more tasty than store-bought. Go meat. - abacab
The problem is that these animals are still going to be abused whether I personally eat them or not. They may as well die for a reason. - Rahsheen(isSoAwesome)
Not true. Supply and demand. If you buy free range organic meat, then you help change the patterns of consumption. And it will change the industry. - Ňicķ
I subscribe to Maddox's theory...for every animal you don't eat, I'm going to eat two...that way, you're still part of the problem. - Sean McGee
Plus, you won't need to feel guilty for your part in the slaughter. But of course, your logic could work for anything that ever needed change. Voting rights, civil rights, whatever. The status quo can only alter when people change their behavior. But it works. Ask Ghandi or MLK Jr. - Ňicķ
Nick...I'm from Texas...I drive by farms all the time...They NEVER look like this...(My in-laws run Angus Beef on their ranch)...This is 12 minutes of PETA propaganda...find the absolute worst, bottom of the barrel farmers...and say they're ALL like that... - Sean McGee
Sean, I've seen this shit in real life. Part of the reason I became a vegetarian. How many high density indoor pig farms or chicken farms have you been to? (and of course I don't think they're ALL like that.... but fast food meat? basic Safeway ground beef? You bet!) - Ňicķ
Can I buy a pack of free-range beef for $2 at my local grocer? Lifestyle changes usually involve financial changes. Some people don't have the flexibility for all that. - Rahsheen(isSoAwesome)
When you think about how we (some times) treat one another, is any thing about this video really all that shocking? - J. Abdul-Qahhar
J. nope, it's not. But that sure don't make it right. But I'm more concerned with people's ignorance. If they think most cheap meat is raised in reasonable conditions, they're just mistaken. But people don't know, and don't want to know.... - Ňicķ
Sean, as long as you're comfortable with torture, you can eat whatever you dang please. I'm hardly surprised by willful ignorance any more. (It may surprise you, but I don't want everyone to be a vegetarian. I have no problem with you killing and eating almost anything but a human. What I object to is inhumane treatment and torture).... edit: (okay, I take it back, I don't want you to eat dolphin... unless you kill it in a bare knuckled brawl) - Ňicķ
If your not going to stop eating meat for the animal's sake, why not stop for the environment: According to a 2006 United Nations initiative, the livestock industry is one of the largest contributors to environmental degradation worldwide, and modern practices of raising animals for food contributes on a "massive scale" to deforestation, air and water pollution, land degradation, loss of topsoil, climate change, the overuse of resources including oil and water, and loss of biodiversity. The initiative concluded that "the livestock sector emerges as one of the top two or three most significant contributors to the most serious environmental problems, at every scale from local to global." - Matrixx333
Or maybe for heath reasons, my Uncle ate a large amount of meat daily for the majority of his life and he just had to have a corroded artery blockage removed from his neck and is still having problems eating and talking. - Matrixx333
Those farmers that work hard to provide the most sustainable produce and those ranchers that do everything to mitigate the suffering of poultry and livestock deserve our attention. The simple fact is that every meal deserves a provenance. - Christopher Harley
-1 Sean McGee. Your Sponsor a Vegetarian link is disgusting, reactionary, and reprehensible. So, not only do you support the murder of animals but for everyone who opposes that murder - and reminds you of how murderous your actions actually are - you'll murder even more? - joneilortiz
Fucking disgusting, Sean McGee. The more I think about your "sponsor" link, the more enraged I become. You find animal life so expendable, so devoid of value, so un-like human animal life, that you'll kill even more animals just to make a point, just for rhetorical value, just to counter-act the few devoted to sparing animal life. And why? Because you're just so inconvenienced by the existence of others who don't share your thoughtless idea of a diet? - joneilortiz
What we got here is a failure to communicate - Fred Grott
"Hot ashes for trees" and "heroes for ghosts" are going in opposite directions. i never noticed before that the "did they get you to trade X for Y" (which is sort of ambiguous) don't always have the same "good for bad" or "bad for good" direction. I guess they did whatever fit the music and you assume we're giving up the genuine and the good for the artificial and the bad. - ⓞnor
Nice reminder, Trish. I love this song, almost as much as I love Led Zeppelin's 'Achilles Last Stand' - Christopher Harley
@Christopher I love that song, too. The lyrics are great. - Trish R
Ill see you on the dark side of the moon... - Matrixx333
running over the same old ground and have we found the same old fears? - Morgan
The last time "So You Think You Can Dance" was on, I tried to make up a song to this tune starting with "So You Think You Can Dance." If that makes sense. Um, Jesus, I think I just really made myself sound like an idiot, didn't I. - Nathan Rein
If you have some hesitations about making these, let me try to convince you otherwise. These brownies are delicious! They're flavored with bittersweet chocolate, cocoa, raspberry beer, and raspberry preserves. Incredibly moist with a deep, fruity, complex flavor.Still not convinced? The bars are topped with a dark chocolate truffle ganache. - Mahdi Ebrahimi via Bookmarklet
"Elizabeth Stamatina "Tina" Fey (born May 18, 1970) is an Emmy award-winning American writer, comedienne, actress and producer. Fey is best known for her work on Saturday Night Live as well as her work on 30 Rock, a situation comedy loosely based on her experiences at Saturday Night Live.[1]
Fey became a writer on SNL in 1997 and she was promoted to the position of head writer in 1999. She was later added to the cast of SNL in 2000.[2] After leaving SNL in 2006, Fey created her own television series called 30 Rock. In the series, she portrays Liz Lemon, the head writer of TGS with Tracy Jordan, a fictional sketch comedy series.[2] She recently starred in the movie 'Baby Mama', alongside Amy Poehler." - Steve Isaacs via Bookmarklet
Stamatina? No wonder she's funny, she'd have to have a good sense of humor with a middle name like that. :D - Haggis (Sean)
i dont get the holy-shit-ness of tina fey--she's okay, i enjoy her at times. 30 rock is great, but i'd say she's only about 40% of what makes that show. i give her 1 thumb up. not 2. definitely not "made of pure win". i guess i'll never understand the obsession. is it because she's a comedienne who isnt awful looking like most of them? im so gonna get shade for this post, but whatever.... here i go...... - Melissa Maskevich
Melissa: it's cool. To each his own. Personally, I lerve me some Stamatina. - Carmen
I love Tina, she's hysterical. Oh if she were on SNL still, she would be a brilliant Sarah Palin. *lol* - Molly
She's hosting SNL tonight. Looking forward to the Palin antics. :) - ::Kristen::

The middle one looks like a real mag pic - gorgeous :) - Dom
Except that a real graphic designer wouldn't run type right across someones eyes. Slide the whole photo down about 10mm, and it'll be fine. And flip it left-right, so that she's on the left edge - for visibility if competing mags are stacked horizontally with just the edge showing. - Ian Tindale
