"The specifics of if she is or isn't fat are irrelevant. This isn't an issue of facts. If it was, you could have her get on a scale or STFU. Not that it would make her STFU. The key is that she is negative about herself. She is probably also negative about others as well. Does she trash other attractive women? Is she jealous of them? Does her negativity spill into everything else you do? When you say "Hey, it's a nice day out," does she say "Eh, it's gonna rain?" Her self-image is not something you're going to fix. She is probably in a comfort zone where she is comfortable with her self-hatred. As far as I'm concerned, being called a liar repeatedly would be enough for me to leave. That's verbal abuse. There are three options I see here: * She learns to love herself * You decide you've heard "I'm fat and ugly" enough and walk * You spend the rest of your relationship/life being miserable."
