This reminds me of something rather annoying and bordering fraud. Certain "brake" companies offer free brake checks. Did you know that everytime they check the brakes they have to grind down your brake pads in order to put everything back together? I once ran into the situation where the brake pads started out fine, but would have become too thin in the process of putting the brakes back together. I was forced to pay on the spot (since they wouldn't have put the brakes back together for fear of liability). - torque

Paul - It's a loan so there is a beginning and an end. The money supply isn't affect. BUT it isn't a free lunch. There's the moral hazard of companies believing they can get so big the Fed won't let them fail. Plus if enough of these happen and the collateral goes bad, we end up in a situation like we had in the 1800s with unregulated currencies, Which sucked. - Andrew Burd

imho using a .vc tld makes your site seem sketchy. www.site.vc just isn't something you encounter a lot. i would choose a worse .com domain name over a better .vc domain name. - peter
