@rmogull No, I think it's a problem just in your local area. It's working fine over here
Another week that's been taken over with design work for a DR network. Fun stuff though ...
@Saudi Have you moved to the new office yet? Parking is very scarce in these parts, esp since road beautification began in May.
@mutairy 12C Riyadh being very cold, max 21 ... hmm, don't mention that to friends in UK. London is -3C right now, with forecast max of 4C
@jadi All the best with your work deliberations ...
@Saudi Glad to hear it - you clearly needed to move. Hope this role goes well
@mutairy I think you need Mr Wolf
@fbakhashwain Are you at the show again? It can't have been that bad :)
@zandib Many malls are family-only on weekends, so men can't enter if alone (westerners usually exempt). Segregation of sexes is endemic
Security at Kingdom Mall #Riyadh has got more paranoid during the last 2 mths; today they said family only & wouldn't let any single men in
RT @mikkohypponen: Think twice before taking your laptop to Israel: http://lilysussman.wordpress.com/2009... <- and backup your data!
@jadi Great to see the snowy mountains in your east photo, very appealing
@Saudi What's the coffee like at Cafe du Jardin? I got takeaway there once, the place has a nice feel. Of course I'd like family section too
@Beaker Do Amazon offer tradable derivatives for EC2 billing yet?
@YasserAlmisfer For Windows PC backup I've used Acronis True Image Home before. Many other similar products too: Geniesoft, Memeo, ...
@HishMaj Actually Riyadh stats were per 100k *cars* not people; not comparable I expect. But deaths per 100k anything haven't halved!
@HishMaj Did you notice the last part of the Arab News article about KSA road deaths? Riyadh improvements aren't very credible
@mutairy Some interesting topics on the agenda; I'm now registered. I plan to attend Tue am and Wed pm. Also passed on details to colleagues
@mutairy Yes I did thanks. I've mentioned to a couple of colleagues, so I'm hoping to get us over there
@YasserAlmisfer One of my colleagues had some Win backup software he's used for a few yrs, I'll check which product and his experiences
@Saudi Happy birthday - sounds like a good way to start the day :)
Had a day trip to Abu Dhabi yesterday for a small conf. Still not used to reaching another country after only a 1 hr flight
@YasserAlmisfer Last month I spent an hour looking for comparisons of backup software; also interested. I currently use SVN (version mgmt)
