Per PG_Rule, [infrastructure] a contrib of benefit only 2 some stakeholders. PK: no. Infra must provide benefit, otherwise bad investmnt
@JohnFMoore Arguments I've heard (bad ones): "oh, we already have machines we can put that on, so no cost." (!)

@sonny_h I agree (I do that now w/streaming NetFlix, mostly). But I think there's also a perm mkt of ppl who want to own something physical.
@sonny_h Maybe never (form factor, not density: Blu-Ray=DVD, in other words), at least for movies. The industry needs an object of that size
@sonny_h Shakespeare. Yes, really.

As a technology executive, THIS is the quality of operations I'm looking for my chosen vendors to have: http://www.clickability.com/resourc... #cio #it
@chrispirillo OK, it dates me, but I recall arguing about that on the elementary school bus!
RT @SameerPatel: It's shocking to see how many web apps use the word 'query'. Some engineer got their hands on the UX keys. PK: or "records"
RT @kim The new RT feature: Dead or merely broken? PK: Twitter's got to learn: stability over new features! #twitterfail
RT @suziowens: Twitter is going to fail bc someone else is going to do it better /via @joanlevy PK: disagree w/ first part; agree w/ second.

The Twitter Lists feature is down while they fix something. /via @KrisColvin. PK: once again, stability work should trump features.
Amazon: "For every 100 physical books, we sell 48 Kindle bks." http://www.post-gazette.com/pg... PK: seems dubious; cross-chk to Kindle sales? Oh, wait.
@notruthless What a great thing to say! Thank you; that made my day.
Possibly the most unexciting Tweetcloud ever (mine, that is): http://tweetcloud.icodeforlove.com/PeterKr... Top words: cloud post blog people thanks
Now that Tweetie 2.1 supports Twitter lists & retweets, we can finally start to gauge whether those features are worthwhile.
@estherschindler Biggest feature of the new iMacs, IMO, is their ability to use up to something like 16GB of RAM. My old iMac? 3GB :(
What does it really mean to "follow" a Twitter list? It takes deliberate action to check on that list.
@yojibee Looks like Tweetie 2.1 retweets are the new style only. Workaround: you can "quote" the old tweet & change manually to RT etc.
@estherschindler Trick question? (on scanning the W9). I'd go down to Kinko's, which will scan & put on a USB drive
@KrisColvin :) Don't worry too much about it. I have a saying, "failures follow fingers". I.e., intervening causes mishaps. But fight on!
