Berman, there is no one to fill his shoes which completes a shift in how business is done on Wall Street. "A jumble of ego, smarts and audacity, Mr. Wasserstein boasted in 1987 of his plans to "transform Wall Street." He slipped onto magazine covers before his clients did. He made billions along the way.
