@squarespace Is it correct there are no widgets/pages for labels & categories? It seems strange, but can't find it?
@squarespace toyed a bit with your platform last year, but went with Wordpress. FAIL! #Squarespace kicks ass - back for good!
absolutely blown away by the amazing Squarespace blog platform examples page http://www.squarespace.com/example...

@mikelangford My pleasure Mike :) Nice pics btw.
Here are my thoughts on why Friendfeed is a Twitter power app http://peterefland.posterous.com/how-fri...
RT @noelleee: When twitter goes down, those in Iran should consider a group Posterous. They can email updates to broadcast. #iranelection
How Friendfeed is my Twitter Power House - http://peterefland.com/2009...
How Friendfeed is my Twitter Power House
What value do you really get from the people you follow on Twitter?  For me, I get pretty much zero value from my Twitter followings. And the same goes for my followers btw.   Some argue that the real value of Twitter comes not from the number of followers, but from following the right people. To some degree [...] - Peter Efland
FriendFeed is where I read Twitter. - Louis Gray
Ditto Louis but...I have some friends that are still not on FF. Sometimes I just go for a change but twitter's like going to the corner store for a toothpick rather than going out for salmon, broccoli and chocolate mousse.(FF) - Myrna
Hmm, can see Posterous and Wordpress could be more compatible regarding the layout of blog posts sent from Posterous to Wordpress. Sorry about that! - Peter Efland
huh? :) - Myrna
Myrna, in the post I do mention imaginary friends, for Twitter friends not yet on Friendfeed. But except for that my main argument is that what matters on twitter is not who you follow or who follow you, but instead topics of interest which Friendfeed is better at filtering. - Peter Efland
Twitter actually gives me a bit more value then Friendfeed because on Twitter I follow a ton of other graphic designers and most of them post great links to resources and tutorials everyday. I don't get that from Friendfeed. Most of what I get from Friendfeed is just random news and funny stuff. - Mathew™
Yes Peter, I agree about topics totally. Twitter tends to make me a little dizzy if I'm there too long. If I want to see what someone is thinking or saying on twitter about a certain topic I used to go to summize but then its still fragmented and people are just putting their own thoughts without connecting to anyone else's. - Myrna
@Mathew I see what you mean with niches on twitter. But I still think, when I follow people I know have a great knowledge within a topic I am interested in, that most of what they're saying has no interest at all. But yeah, with links I agree, but that could easily be filtered in Friendfeed as well. Of course you would then have to make the work of importing them. - Peter Efland
FF pops up on my desktop, and keeps me informed of what's going on at all times. Also, I can post replies to all my other sites from FF. I also use Twitter Karma to find those followers who are not either following me, and/or, who do not add value to the "discussion". I view all of what I'm doing in my niche, as I would my former High School & College study groups. If you don't add value, bring something to the table and participate, or worse, drain value from the group, then you are gone! - James Artre
Mathew, you could just use the imaginary friends function on FF and then have twitter on FF - Myrna
James, ouch! - Myrna
I do all my filtering with TweetDeck and that is all I need. Your right I could have imaginary friends, but then I can't share all the links I do on Twitter. Twitter and Friendfeed are two separate worlds in my eyes and offer me different things. I don't really want or need to bring them together. That is also why I keep FF and Twitter separate from Facebook, another different world for me on it's own. - Mathew™
@james Artre - sound thorough, but doesn't that take up a lot of time? I will check out Twitter Karma, thanks for the tip. I always try to find the better filters on Friendfeed to automatically give me what I want, without having to sit and fiddle around with it too much. - Peter Efland
@myrna exactly. Its often very hard to find signal on twitter under all the noise. - Peter Efland
what's twitter karma? - Myrna
@myrna, Twitter karma is a site where you after logging in your twitter credentials can see how many of the people you follow is following you back. - Peter Efland
Ok, there are a few jounalists that I follow but their tweets come through on FF. When someone @'s me from twitter, I have seesmic running in the background. - Myrna
@posterous does posterous integrate with Feedburner? #posterous
@posterous idea: could the RSS icon be moved above the tags? Blogs with many tags makes it non-obvious to find the RSS icon #posterous
Looking at my Greader's unread items I'm wondering about so called A-bloggers view on quality... why so much fluffy content?
weekend... sweet!
@maydbs followfriday eh?... never been on that trend... but pretty sure I read somewhere its illegal to recommend Swedes...sorry :p
June 12 from IM - Comment - Share
yeah, I bet you were pretty proud that Denmark beat the Swedes on soccer this week? It's illegal to recommend ppl who are not worthy the time! Clearly not the case =P - May
haha, aah yeah, I completely forgot to ridicule you for the crushing defeat, which probably means we won't see the Swedes at the Worldcup :p - Peter Efland
@zoblue Good 1. But with Ping.fm being so slow I wonder if better to start from Friendfeed - autoupdate Twitter which autoupdate FB & PL ?
anyone who can recommend a free twitter auto-folllow service?
as expected Friendfeed kicked ass on Ping.fm for post-to-twitter speed. And why would i use 3rd party app? auto-link-shortener, thats why
cont. ... especially since search.twitter only show @shelisrael messages and not @comcastcares messages http://search.twitter.com/search...
June 11 from IM - Comment - Share
wow, ping.fm is sloow updating to twitter... they have a 10 min head start, but lets see if Friendfeed won't beat them anyway... testing..
RT@rubypractices I'll be tweeting one tip from the book a day, until I run out of extracted bullet points. Spread the word.
interesting conv. between @shelisrael & @comcastcares on effectiveness of phone support vs. twitter support. Hope for a blog post on this
